Right now the prices for drops seems to hold pretty well, but I still think the main advantage of drops is they make skilling up much easier. You can go out and make hi-drops while farming the vines saving you a lot of hassle.
the drops have a 5 minute medicated effect....at low level that doesnt matter but at high level its just the 5 minute cure thing.
Is there any distinct advantage to a drop compared to a potion?

Did a little more looking and answered my own question. From what I can find, the drops are a stackable version of potions, the disadvantage being the "medicated" status preventing multiple, successive use. I believe the status lasts 5 minutes for these. Normal potions can be used while "medicated," as they are not actual "medicines."

ok, i try to read both potion and potion drop, both have same recipe, so if you got the key item, you can't make hi-/potion +1/+2/+3/+4?

hrm... anyone know what rank alchemy you have to be to have access to this? ie: will it be available with 31 Alch?

Key Item: Concoction. Purchased from Hemewmew (Bastok Mines) for 2o,ooo Guild Points.Gives the alchemy ability to synth medicines into drops. Known synths at the moment are Potion,Hi-Potion, and Ether drops.
