Please take a look at the new "Spinning" key item for clothcraft. The spindles are not required for making thread with the traditional recipes. The spindles are used for the brand new high-yield thread recipes with Spinning.
You do not have to buy spindles for every thread, or even any. You can keep making thread as you always have. If you want to make more thread with each synth, spend 10,000 guild points on "Spinning" and pick up some of these.

I no longer visit Allakhazam, due to their new gil-selling ownership.
Requires the "Spinning" tool to craft with. Used in all thread synths, such as "Lightning Crystal + Spider Webx6 + Spindle = 3 Rainbow Threads" or "Lightning Crystal + Moko Grassx6 + Spindle = 3 Grass Threads".
Can't find a way to delete it, though :(
