Loxley Bow  

Got this bow yesterday. 1/1 with a 75 WHM, 67 SAM and myself a 63 RNG. Trivial fight, dropped everything it could as well as the bow. ( I subbed THF ).

What everyone says about it is true, but I would like to make one little addition, in an Xp party... especially if you are a Mithra, don't bother so much with accuracy food, the +12 on this sucker makes a BIG difference, I use yellow curries and alot of people scoff about me turning into Ms. Missy Wfff-winder... until they see that with this bow, I don't miss much at all. In fact because the damage, light as it is, is spread across quite a few shots, the laws of averages seem to favour me in the end. With Yellow curry and extra RATTK and STR ( = damage)... I also gain some more. I just wish I had an E-Bow to make some comparisons.

Pay close attention to the Ranged Accuracy kiddies, it's what makes this bow as deadly as it is. The super fast fire rate is fine, but without the RACC, it would be nothing more than a brag/mantlepiece special.

Oh... and start woodworking well in advance of getting this bow, you need to be 49+. I'd say the ability to make Scorpion arrows in the very least, is a must, otherwise you will need to sell your firstborn to a gilseller to feed this little beastie of a bow. You should also marry Nokki and/or grow carnations because you will also be one big walking quiver. Gobbie bag to 60 is a given too.

For a little more perspective. I've engaged a La-theine hare at maximum range and put three into it before it got close enough to whack me. Woe betide a Goblin in Valkarum Dunes casting anything but an instant spell... because it will be the last thing they do. Most mobs on the small end of the scale get one parting shot before you snuff them entirely. You cannot do that with a Selene's, you will get whacked atleast once, if not twice before you get your 2nd shot off. Euryto's cannot be that much different.
