Abquhbah has asked you to visit the weapon shop in his stead. His heavy sighs have you slightly worried...
Once you've successfully completed 25 points worth of assaults (5 points for completing a previously unbeaten area, 1 point for completing an already beaten area) head to Salaheem's Sentinels for a cut scene with Abquhbah.
After you talk to Abquhbah, talk to Hagakoff at (K-10) for another cut scene. Go back to Abquhbah for another cut scene. Then go back to Hagakoff for one more cut scene. Through all these cut scenes, you learn that Naja Salaheem's Mace is rusty and needs to be cleaned. The best way to clean it is with Scourshrooms, which are found in Aydeewa Subterrane.
Go to Aydeewa Subterrane by the (I-10) entrance in Wajaom Woodlands. Once inside, go to the point where (I-9) and (J-8) meet and check the mushroom patch to find a mature scourshroom (ket item). Check the mushroom patch at (I-9)/(J-9) to "plant" the mature scourshroom. Go to (E-7) and pick another mature scourshroom and plant it in another nearby mushroom patch. Once you have planted the mature scourshrooms, zone out and back in and wait for the next in-game day. (One day is only the minimum needed to wait.) Check the two patches where you planted the mature scourshrooms to find young scourshrooms. The young scourshrooms are what you need for this quest. If you wait until 4:00 - 6:00 to pick the scourshrooms, you will usually get two instead of one. If you wish to harvest more young scourshrooms, you must first return to Abquhbah with the ones you have before you will be able to pick more mature scourshrooms.
Return to Abquhbah with the scourshrooms. One scourshroom is good for one cleaning. You will need to clean the mace at least twice. At that point, you will be given the choice to finish the quest or continue cleaning. If you clean the mace two to four times, you will receive an Imperial Mythril Piece. If you clean it five times, you will an Imperial Gold Piece. Whether you choose to stop at two cleanings or five, the quest is complete and you will receive your promotion to Chief Sergeant.
