Description

Zayhi-Bauhi needs honey for his voice. Talk to Raamimi and she will give you some honey for Zayhi. Trade it to Zayhi, and it seems to help. Talk to the NPCs around him, then get 4 more pots of honey, and trade them to him one at a time. Then go back to Raamini and you will receive 3 Mulsum.

Zayhi-Bauhi: Ha-hummm...we...arrrk...owe...our... ...peace...Hrmmm... A-hrmmm! A-hrr-hrr-hrr-hrrmmm...!

Rutango-Botango: Oh, crumbs! The great, old teacher has lost his voice before he could deliver his famous public speech!

Kalupa-Tawalupa: Are you all right, sir? Don't try and force yourself to continue. It might make your throat worse!

Raamimi: Oh, goodness-gracious me... I thought his audience's reaction was livelier than usual, but it seems that the old public speaker has gone and lost his voice. Let me see... I guess this will have to make do. I was hoping to save it to make a nice drink out of it, but that can wait. Here, give the old given this and see if it helps...

At this point you will receive one pot of honey.

Raamimi: If he swallows some of that honey, honey, it should fix his sore throat right up. Why, that's honey from the bees out in Sarutabaruta you're dealing with here!

Zayhi-Bauhi: Ack... What's... A-hrmmm! this...? A-hrr-hrr-hrr-hrrmmm...!

Kalupa-Tawalupa: Hey, did that honey help you to talk a little just now? Then it must be effective. Quick, bring him as much honey as we can find!

Rutango-Botango: Mister speaker! Please lap up as much of that honey as you so it fixes your throat up! Then you can tell us more about the great summoner!

I can confirm that in order to get this quest you should complete The Postman Always K.O.

Also make sure you zone after completing the quest.

This is standard. If a quest requires another quest be completed, always zone after completing the required quest.

I'd also recommend completing the Postman Always K.O.'s Twice with the Torn Epistle off rarabs from West Sarutabaruta. That way you can also flag Star Struck as well. (Don't give the Torn Epistle to Koru-Moru just talk to him with it in your inventory, otherwise you'll have to get another one.)

I got it

I got this quest just about the time I got level 3 fame. Also it might be that I talked to both of them every few days for a long while.

I cleared the quest, but I don't see Raamimi anywhere around him. There are two tarutarus next to Zayhi and neither one is him. Is there anywhere else he could be? I want my reward....

Raamimi is directly across from Zayhi. Just turn around and you'll see her.

I did this quest... and got absolutely nothing but fame... no gil, no mulsum... ha... not saying you don't get the reward... but I didn't... thought I'd share my stunning luck! Made me laugh anyway.

Try talking to the npc that gave you the quest to start with, Raamimi. He is the one that gives you the reward.
Title after completion of quest

Title after completing this is "Total Loser". T_T

I'm not sure that that's correct. I got that title after attempting the Windurst Mission in which you to go to Tahrongi and kill all you can for an hour. I took too long to come back, so failed the Mission and the title "Total Loser" showed up in my stats as well.

So I'm guessing "Total Loser" happens when you flub a quest/mission.

You're both insane--'total loser' comes from the warp 2 quest from Shantoto, or however her name is spelled.

You are correct. The "Total Loser" title is what you get while working on the Curses Foiled A-Golem quest. After you finish you lose the "Total Loser" one.
Before you can Trigger this Quest

You must talk to Zayhi-Bauhi befor you can do this quest.

Fame obviously has nothing to do with it. My boyfriend and I both tried to do the quest and he was able to do it but not me. However, I have a boatload more fame than him. I also already turned in the muddy bar tab to Ambrosius. He has not turned in the bar tab yet. What's going on?

*sigh*

the Honey can be easily found on newbie monsters, or you can buy them for 200-400 on the Auction House. The reward is 5 mulsem which can be sold for around 400-800 each on the auction house.
Repeatable?

I have NOT been able to repeat this quest so I would say "No."
Talk to either of them once you can DO the quest, honey one

Zayhi-Bauhi will obviously have a problem with his voice once you can do the quest, when talking to him. Any of the lil people around him or that
Raamimi people will talk about his problem as well.

So there is no particular "trigger", or order of talking to people. You simply need to have the fame to be able to do the quest.

Once you can, only give him pots of honey one at a time, then wait for his reaction. It seems like the person who posted below with "bee4 or bee5" gave him a bunch at once and this did not work.

If you read the quest description, it says to GIVE THEM TO HIM ONE AT A TIME ;) I had a honey in the bank and they were cheap at auction, like 100 gil or less.

The mulsum sold fast to an npc vendor at 101 gil each, so you get back any money you spent on the honey.
bee5 to bee4
# Nov 16 2003 at 8:56 PM Rating: Good
I just accidentally gave him five, and he still wants more :( guess I'll try with the posted four.
Location
# Nov 13 2003 at 1:47 PM Rating: Decent
Both Raamimi and Zayhi-Bauhi can be found at F-7 in Windurst Walls.

I didn't get the quest as a level 6 warrior but I haven't found a bar tab to turn in yet either.
Getting Quests
# Nov 12 2003 at 7:53 PM Rating: Default
Lvl has very little to do with quests. How much fame you have determines the quests you can get as well as having done previous quests.
Where's Zayhi-Bauhi
# Nov 07 2003 at 5:52 PM Rating: Decent
Where's Zayhi-Bauhi? I kinda looked around town for him, but I can't find him. I was told I had to talk to him first before starting the quest. I have a odd feeling he's somewhere really obvious too. Can anyone help me?
RE: Where's Zayhi-Bauhi
# Nov 10 2003 at 9:04 PM Rating: Default
Yes you're right. He's somewhere really obvious. In fact, he's in the same location as Raamimi who gives you the quest. Look around you, do you see a tarutaru standing on top of a big rock?
reward
# Nov 05 2003 at 4:11 PM Rating: Default
The reward is an MP restore potion (medicine in the auctions) sells for 700-k on ifrit server.
What do you do with..?
# Nov 05 2003 at 3:45 AM Rating: Default
What do you do with the reward you get? The muslum?
finally
# Nov 02 2003 at 12:30 AM Rating: Decent
i figured it out, first you have to give the muddied bar tab to Ambrosius at the auction house in the same zone, then you can do the honey pot quest. only took me three days to figure out -_-
Finishing the Quest
# Nov 01 2003 at 7:31 PM Rating: Default
Those who have it let's try buying or killing bees for more honeypots
RE: Finishing the Quest
# Nov 09 2003 at 10:45 PM Rating: Default
You can buy honey on the bazaar for about 100 gil. I believe you need to give him 6 pots of honey in order for his toothache :) Talk to the tarutaru that gave you the honey in the first place, and she'll give you the Aqua Musculum.
