If you ever receive a rare or remarkable status ailment, rush to show it to Ohruru.

Walkthrough

If you become inflicted with a rare status ailment like Mute, Bane, or Plague, talk to Ohruru at (E-7) inside the Orastery in Port Windurst. She will remove the status ailment and give you gil - 1,000 for Mute, 1,200 for Bane, and 1,500 for Plague.

About the special status ailments:

• Mute is a special form of Silence that is inflicted by Eight of Cups in Outer Horutoto Ruins. It is an Additional Effect from its melee attacks.
• Bane is a special form of Curse that is only inflicted by Lost Soul mages in The Eldieme Necropolis.
• Plague is a special form of Disease that is inflicted by Bloodsuckers in the Toraimarai Canal.

Note: Other mobs can inflict Mute and Plague than those indicated here, but the effect typically does not last long enough to get to Ohruru in time.
