Mission Orders

Rotting roofboards, crumbling walls... Yes, this Rent-a-Room is a mess. Your moogle associate has the handyman skills; all he needs are a few essential items to make the requisite repairs.

Walkthrough

The items required for this mission are all key items.

In the previous cut scene, the moogle asks for a Sturdy Metal Strip. Obtain this key item by mining in any of the Rise of the Zilart areas. Return to Upper Jeuno and check the Inconspicuous Door. This time you are asked to find Rugged Tree Bark, which is found by logging in any of the Rise of the Zilart areas. Once found, check the Inconspicuous Door one more time for another cut scene. The last item to fetch is a Savory Lamb Roast. This item is found by harvesting in any of the Rise of the Zilart areas. Check the Inconspicuous Door one more time for another cut scene and to finish the mission.

Note: All three of the key items may be obtained in any order, even without this mission activated.

Gathering items

Gathering these items can be done with some ease. As someone stated in a previous post, it is both convenient and a good idea to have your inventory full before you starting mining, logging, and harvesting these items. This way the mining, logging, or harvesting point does not repop while you are trying to farm your temporary key item, but, instead, stays in one location.

Sturdy Metal Strip: Received this after 3 tries in Gusgen Mines
Rugged Tree Bark: Received this after 2 tries in Jugner Forest
Savory Lamb Roast: It took approximately 15 tries to finally receive the Savory Lamb Roast. No sickles were broke.

If you go with a full inventory, the spawn points won't disappear after using a tool so you can repeat harvesting, mining or logging until you get the key item.

And you won't have to run all over the place looking for a new spawn point.

Just to Confirm somethings, I got the:
Sturdy Metal Strip - Zeruhn Mines
Piece of Rugged Tree bark - Ghelsba Outpost
Savory Lamb Roast - Giddeus

They each took a while but eventually got. Used with Field gear to save tools.

Could have saved yourself a bit of a trip, since there's mining points in the lower portion of Yughott Grotto, just a few steps from the logging points in Ghelsba.
