Summary

Journey to the waterfall in Ordelle's Caves, and bring back proof of your visit.

Walkthrough

When you go back to talk to Balasiel a second time, he recognizes that you have become stronger. He asks if you are ready to do more training. If you tell him yes, he sends you to the Ordelle Caves and tells you that you need to bring something back to him as proof of completing your challenge. He tells you to go to the body of the cave and bring back proof of being there.

First, you may speak with Chanpeau (NPC standing at a well on the way to talk to Balasiel). He will give some small hint about the quest. Next, go to La Theine Plateau and enter the zone Ordelle's Caves (map sold in Northern San d'Oria by Elesca, at I-8) The entrance is in the ravine closest to the lake at (F-7). In the caves from the entrance at (H-6) head to the large room with Shriekers in it at (H-7). Pass through this room to get to the waterfall at (G-7).

There are two points of interest here with ??? marking them. One is in the pool, and one is in the middle of the room. Make sure to un-equip weapons and/or your shield. First, inspect the ??? at the pool. Then, quickly inspect the ??? in the center of the room. If you have done this correctly and quick enough, you will receive Stalactite Dew.

Head back to Balasiel for a Squire's Certificate Key Item. This appears to be an ongoing quest as he says to come back later when you have progressed further.

(This is actually a prerequisite for the Paladin flag quest.)

Well this is all good but i need a few questions answered. For one, i can't find Estelle. WHERE in north sandoria is he/she? And what do i catch the stalagmite dew in? Ok, thanks.

you dont need to talk to estelle, and you dont need anything to catch the dew in. id say your best bet is to go when you do the eco quest. an alliance for this mission is good to have as its pretty rough below lvl 20. i went with a full group of 18 and still got raped.
anyhow, first target the ??? in the water on the left side of the room with the waterfall. immediately after that run to the center of the room and target the ??? on the large stalatite in the middle. you should get a message saying you receieved stalagtite dew or some junk. if it says "the dew slipped between your fingers" you did not select them fast enough. you literally have to run right away. also, the funguars down here are called fly algarics, and i dont think theyre aggro.

quick followup:
hognosed bats are aggro in here, as are the gobs and goliath beetles.

Estrelle is in South San d'Oria by the fountain near the parade grounds.
Can't do it alone

There is no way you can get there without any agro unless you have invis and/or sneak at level 30. I just tried it and kept agroing goblins and funguars. Your best bet is getting 1-2 other people to come with you around level 30, one of them being a healer.

Hi, here is the solution to the Squire's Test II
First, you may speak with Chanpeau (NPC standing at a well on the way to talk to Balesiel). He will give some small hint about the quest.
Next, go to La Theine Plateau and enter the zone Ordelle's Caves (map sold in San Doria North -Estrelle)
The entrance is in the ravine closest to the lake (H-11).
In the caves from the entrance (H-6) head to the large room with funguars in it (H-7), pass through this room to get to the waterfall at (G-7).

There are two points of interest here with ??? marking them. One is in the pool, and one is in the middle of the room. Make sure to un-equip weapons and/or shield. First, inspect the ??? at the pool. Then, quickly inspect the ??? in the center of the room. If you have done this correctly and quick enough, you will recieve Stalactite Dew.

Head back to Balasial for a "Squire's Certificate" key Item. This appears to be an ongoing quest as he says to come back later when you have prgoressed further.

sidenote- sneak works for all mobs here, and all mobs seem to be aggro and around lvl 14-26.

This sounds alot like the paladin flag quest. It has three parts, any level can do the first two, but you must be 30 to do the third.
