Summary

The Tenshodo is gathering expert thieves to its fold. Carry out your orders by handing the Tenshodo envelopes to the appropriate people and having them sign the documents within.

Walkthrough

Start this quest by talking to Nanaa Mihgo at J-3 in Windurst Woods. Next, head to the Tenshodo headquarters in Lower Jeuno; to get in, you will need a Tenshodo Invite.

Just inside the HQ, talk to Harnek for a cutscene in which you and several other thieves are given envelopes and sent out to find old members of a legendary band of thieves. You are told to find a galka thief in Selbina.

Head to Selbina and talk to Elfriede at J-9 in the Shepherd's Muster Inn. In a cutscene, the thief Sneaking Tiger appears and says you must prove you are worthy by bringing him a Quadav Stew. The stew can only be stolen from certain quadavs in Beadeaux, including Garnet Quadavs, Silver Quadavs, Zircon Quadavs and Bronze Quadavs. Using thief as a subjob on a different high level job works ok for stealing the stew. Once you get the stew, return to Selbina and trade the stew to Elfriede for another cutscene with Sneaking Tiger. Then head back to the Tenshodo in Lower Jeuno and talk again to Harnek. After the ensuing cutscene, you receive your Marauder's Knife.

you don't even need to talk to those other NPCs...I was able to steal the Quadav Stew without even getting the quest. Not sure if the mithra would take the Quadav Stew if you don't talk to those other NPCs though. You can try

i just got it...it's pretty simple.
after u talk to the girl in windurst, you need to go to neptune spire. however, you have to complete the quest of "tenshido membership" in order to enter the door down the asle and talk to the guy. then you can finish the quest by following the instruction on the 1st post.

btw. you don't have to defeat those quadavs, just steal and disengage and run.

gl everyone.
The names are..

this is the info I found on the quest:

1. Talk to Nanaa-Mihgo at Wind-Forest.
2. Go to Jeuno Neptune Spire, and talk to the person by the stairs.
3. Go to Selbina Inn and talk to the person in the middle behind the counter.
4. Go to Beadeaux and steal "Quadav style stew" from Zircon, Garnet, or Silver Quadav.
5. Trade to the person in Selbina.
6. Talk to the person in Jeuno

You have to talk with "someone" as part of this quest. Why have a quest walkthrough if you can't even include the names of the NPC?

Why should there even be any walkthroughs? Would you find it more fun to have to figure every one of them out yourself? I think the fact you can come here and see what your basic goal is, what work is required, and what reward you are given is a nice advantage.

I believe a/he meant that as a contradiction to the guy's post, how he's come here for help, then he's complaining about how they left the names out, like he's supposed to have everything provided for him.

Just thought I'd point that out.
