SummaryThe guiding bell is hidden somewhere inside Delkfutt's Tower. Brutus wants you to bring it back for his deceased chocobo. WalkthroughTalk to Brutus at G-7 in the chocobo stables of Upper Jeuno to start this quest. Next, head to the 10th floor in Upper Delkfutt's Tower. Kill Gigas Wallwatchers, Gigas Stonemasons, or Gigas Kettlemasters to get a Delkfutt's Chest Key. The chest seems to spawn in one of several locations: (a) Near the elevator, (b) G-8, (c) I-10, (d) F-7 or (e) H-6. Opening the chest will get you the key item Guiding Bell. I forget which kind they are, but the ghost-type mobs mobs in middle delkfutt do drop the key. I was helping a group with the rank 4 mission recently and a key dropped.

The information about what drops the key isn't right. You have to go to upper delkfutt and fight gigas bonecutters, stonemasons, butchers, torturers, hallwatchers, punishers, and spirekeepers. Nothing in middle delkfutt drops the key. There are chests on the 8th, 9th, and 10th floor.

Yeah, I believe it is VERY similar to the RSE quests also.

So, I assume you can go directly to the chests to open them with thief's tools. ^^
Just accept the quest as your 40+ BST, switch to THF, and find the chest! :D
