In-Game Text

Description

Elysia (G-10) wishes you to recover a hairpin she thinks she may have dropped while shopping in the upper level. She can be found as you enter the circular room with the bridge by following the path to the right and entering the hall guarded by Merol.

After speaking with her, go back the way you came and go up the ramp on the east side of the bridge. When you get to the top head right and go through the hall guarded by Fouagine. Head up the ramp and examine the ??? on the ground near Korbi-Marobi to get the key item Alabaster Hairpin. Return to Elysia.

She now wishes you to distract Pradiulot while she prays. He can be found at the west end of the altar/bridge room at H-9. Speak with him, and after a brief cutscene, you will be rewarded with the map of the Tavnazia (Misereaux Coast, Lufaise Meadows, Tavnazian Stronghold).

If your native language is not english, and you want all the content in Allakahazam in that language (with some minimal mistakes in translation), follow this link:

Thank you, it might be useful for someone

Whenever I come to the Safehold, I always check the past event watcher for Unforgiven pt.4 ... love the music.

Pradiulot mentions something about 2 friends... I'm pretty sure he's talking about himself, and was unable to protect someone his friend loved dearly (wife?), when the town fell to the beastmen...

Just speculation though...

[edit]
Found out it IS his wife, but it was Elysia who failed to protect her... and rather then lose the friendship between them, he'd chose to forget. Elysia doesn't know this though.

another quest?

If you talk to her and Pradiulot again, you get another cutscene. I wonder how you continue the story on these 2...must be another quest.

No, that is incorrect. The title "dead body" is what you get for completing the 3 promivions, not this quest.
RE: Title

No, "Dead Body" is gained by zoning into Tavnazian Safehold. Completing Promyvion grants the title "Ancient Flame Follower" or something of that nature.
Ok.....

Someone in my LS has the exact same name as the NPC needed to start this Quest.

It would be weird if it is the same Character model as her also.

Nah, she's a model of Hume that only NPCs can be. That would be pretty funny though.

Thank you very much for th translation, and I'm not rating you down or anything, but I would think that if you speak spanish you will not go to this site and see this anyway. What I'm trying to say is thx, but its not necessary in the future.

Whats is the problem posting a translation??

I really hate this attitude, even in the Game, u start speaking Spanish, and there is always an *ss saying "Dont speak Italian" I always tell them "Its spanish, and when we adress to you we'll do it on english". So, what is the big problem?

First off, the person calling spanish italian is an idiot. The languages might both be derived from the same root latin, but they are usually very easy to tell apart.. anyways I digress.

The reason people complain when you speak another language in front of them is because it is considered rude. It's like whispering to one person while a 3rd person is sitting there watching. It makes people feel excluded and no one likes that feeling. There is nothing wrong with talking to someone in another language.. but do it in tells. Unless the person you are talking to just doesn't know the common language of the group/party/linkshell/whatever, use the language that everyone knows. It's the polite and friendly thing to do.

As for the Spanish translation.. I don't know spanish, but rate up for taking the time to try to help people that do know spanish but don't know english. I do understand where the poster saying it was unneccessary was coming from however, I won't say you wasted your time. It's always nice to try to help others.

It is not pratical to provide translations in every language. This site would be cluttered with translations for 10 or more languages.

A better course is to have language specific sites. There are lots of sites for English and Japanese. An smart business person might want to start a site in Spanish to serve Mexico, Central American, South America, and Spain. If I new Spanish I would do it myself and make lots of money.

Objecting to translations on this site does not make someone a bigot as one person seemed to imply. It was a cheap shot.

It's not practical to provide translations to each language but at the same time, Spanish and French are the part of the 4 most common languages in FFXI.

It's a way to help someone. What people are trying to object is just let people translate it if they had problems or know someone might look at it. I know some spanish speakers who were pretty happy with that.

There's multiple language FFXI sites but Allakhazam is a big one that a lot of people are referred to. So anything helps.
