Description

Take 30 Kindred Seals and trade them to Shami in Port Jeuno and choose a Clotho Orb. To enter the battle field, trade the Clotho Orb to the Burning Circle in Waughroon Shrine and choose the battle Copycat. You can take up to 6 people in and you have 30 minutes to defeat it.

The NM's name is Osschaart. He is an Ahriman type mob. From the 2 runs that I did, it was a blm and smn type mob. On my first run, I died from Astral Flow Diamond Dust. This mob will do a Draw in, followed immediately by charm on the same player. For us, that wasnt too bad. Sleepgaed the person to wipe shadows, and woke them when it wore. It appears that the mob will only charm one person at a time. So, you wont have 6 against you ever.

The biggest problem we had was the -ga spells. Most were stunned. However, when our blm was charmed, that became hard to do, and would quickly take us out.

I think the best bet for this would either be a pt of smns or blms.

I read that this NM can summon either a bat, wyvern or summoner. Anyone experienced this? If so, can his summon be easily slept?

He can summon a summoner? If a summoner can summon a summoner, who summoned the first summoner in the first place? @.@

Thats kinda like the Pulling the Strings ENM once they make puppetmaster.
You have a gob pulling the strings on his puppetmaster puppet, who then calls a puppet out to become a puppetmaster himself, even though he's being controlled by a puppetmaster. (with dice.)

damn price dropped for most of the items in t his BC... stupid people just want to rush to sell...

the 1mil sword is not mere 300k
1.8 mil boots just had a all time low of 1mil

other drops we got:
Phil. Stone 10k
Sorrowful Harp 30k

now i only wish to get Ocl. Ignot and Adamn Ignot from this BC. the price stable and sell fast.

it hurts to pay 30k tax to put the item on sale only see some dumbass undercut the price by so much in order to sell..

We did it 6 times 5/6.
Party setup:
DRK 75
DRK 75 <- me
BRD 75
BLM 75
PLD 75
WHM 75

only time we lost is when one of the DRK was charmed, my stun wasn't up and the damn thing casted three -Ga3 spell in a roll.

it does use the SP of the person it charmed. i saw it using bloodweapon when one of the DRKs was charmed. thank god it didn't use Bendi when whm was charmed.

it uses a single physical attack called Eyes On Me that can deal around 600+ mdg to a non-tanker,enough to KO u if u r taru mage or melee in yellow HP.

good drop. Adaman Ingot seem to be a common drop.
in 5 fights, we have a low 500k and high 2.4mil drop

it dropps
Adamn Ignot 200k
wxxx Ingot 360k ( idon't remember the name, its used for high lvl rings)
+Haste NIN boots. 1.8mil
900k - 1 mil +7vit Sword.
some ex/rare weapons (Axe and Gun, H2H weapon
700k-800k Dagger (Ifrit price)
minor stuff like beetle blood, Ph. Feather. etc. worht 10-30k

It's an Ahriman type Mob.

I'm curious if SAM would help in this battle with Warding Circle and Demon Killer...since they are a demon type.

The Ahriman is intimidated by Samurai's presence.
Hmmm...

We did this BCNM 3 times yesterday. Party setup was NIN - RNG - RNG - WHM - BRD - RDM. We won 1/3.

The first run was primarily trying to figure out what the BC was about and it's abilties. We did very good until it used Benediction and we had little mana.

He charms one person every 30 seconds. It seems to be a random order. He casts Blaze Spikes, Ancient Magic, and level 3 ga spells. Be sure to have someone that can stun the ga's. In fact get two people, cause when our stunner was charmed things would get ugly. BRD/DRK was our stunner.

After this first lose we figured out that when he had the BRD RDM or WHM charmed just leave them, cause they are so weak and miss it's never a problem. If a RNG was charmed we would sleep them. If the NIN was charmed you had to sleep the NIN and the NM until the NIN was awake.

Hate does reset once you are charmed, and might be what causes you to be charmed but that was hard to tell for sure.

On the second run we didn't see it use a two hour so we aren't sure what happened there. We won that fight no problem. The last time we did it he used Mijin, that was really ugly. However, we learned that he is using the two hour of the person that is currently charmed.

This made us wonder, is he doing the two hour, or is it the pet? And if it is the pet using it, can we spend our 2hrs before the BC and he can't ever use them? If anoyne knows please reply.

Drops from the BCNM are very nice, and the BC is incredibly fun/challenging.

Actually he does NOT charm every 30 seconds.

he charms after casting two spells, unless he is in 2 hour mode, where he wont charm at all until he's done.

I've beaten this bc 200-300 times in kaboom.. so I sorta know a bit about it.
