Description

To begin with, you need access to Lufaise Meadows, granted after you complete the first 3 Promyvion missions. It would also be good if everyone bound in Port Bastok to save time. Having a BLM sub for Warp, a BLM to Warp II, or Instant Warp scrolls would be a big plus too. After that:

First talk to Rudolfo at the AH in Rabao, then head over to Zoriboh on the opposite end of Rabao near the lake to actually start the quest. He'll want you to look for a girl named Sanctia in Norg.

Upon arriving in Norg, head up the stairs and in the first door on your left. You need to talk to Sohyon. He will ask you to bring him a drink. Next talk to Washu, who is standing behind him. She will give you the key item "Washu's Flask."

Later in this quest you will need 5 Eastern Gems. You can get them now or when you return to Norg with the water. Eastern Gems are dropped off of Stream and River Sahagin in Yuhtunga Jungle just outside the Sea Serpent Grotto. They are all level 34-38, so plan accordingly. If you need a place to pull to I suggest one of the caves behind the waterfalls. Just be sure to keep the Makara clear. Each person doing the quest will need 5 Eastern Gems. This is by far the worst part of this quest.

When you're ready head for Korroloka Tunnel. Here you need to find 4 Giant Clams to fill your flask from. The locations are as follows (pos is useless for this as they are all on different maps):

- From the Zeruhn Mines zone, take the first left and follow this tunnel to its end. - Head back the way you came and cross the bridge to the other side. Take the right hand fork. Follow this path and take the first right. - Head back again. Take the FAR LEFT exit on this map. Just follow the long room until you see it. Keep following this path straight and you will run right into the clam. - For the last clam, head back again. Cross the bridge this time, and take the first left.

Congratulations, you now have a key item: Flask of Clam Water.

Return to Norg and talk to Sohyon again. He will give you a key item : "Storeroom Key" and tell you to talk to Gimb, who is the Galka standing next to the Chocobo guy. At this point, get your Eastern Gems if you don't have them yet. When you're ready, warp back to Bastok.

Go to the Tenshodo Warehouse in Port Bastok (it's the one on the left). Head inside and talk to Kagetora, who is standing in the corner of the room. After the cutscene head downstairs and out the door to talk to Patient Wheel. Trade your Eastern Gems to him. When you are given a reply option, choose "I want information."

IMPORTANT: Make sure everyone has a warp scroll or can warp at this point, because you will want to get back as quickly as possible (out of sheer exhaustion).

Next stop: Selbina. Outpost Teleport if you can, or just grab a chocobo. You need to talk to the Mayor of Selbina. He's in the house at the top of the hill on the far right side of the map. Once you've talked to him, head to the Swirling Vortex at Siren Sands.

Enter the Vortex and you will receive a cutscene once you enter Lufaise Meadows. When Sanctia asks you questions, choose "That's why I'm here" and "Zoriboh." Once the cutscene is over you can warp back to Bastok.

Last stop: Rabao. Talk to Zoriboh again to complete your quest. You will receive 4000 gil and a Venerer's Ring.

Zone out, zone back and speak to Zoriboh again. If your fame is high enough, you will be granted “The Search for Goldmane” quest.

Ok I'm not sure whats going on now. I've been trying to flag this quest, but for some reason it's not letting me. I have lv4 fame in sandy/rabao. Im on 2-3 on Promathia Missions, so obviously I have Lufaise Meadows open. Rufolpho just talks about his service, and Zoriboh just talks about his home. Any ideas on what's going on?

This quest requires CoP.

If you do not have CoP installed on your console/computer, or do not have it added as an expanded service for your account, you will not receive this quest.

My friend had/has CoP, but he was logged onto a system that did not have it installed, so he was unable to start this quest until switching to a system with Chains of Promathia installed.

Anyone know what title this gives? I just finished it. I guess I can just go to a title checker, but I can never find them. :)

I found the fastest way to do this as a citizen of Bastok was to set HP in Markets and use all of the relevant OP warps (Kuzotz, Elshimo Lowlands, Zulkheim), and a couple of warpscrolls. I bought the gems on the Bastok(Norg) AH for 3k each. With all of that in place (and a map of Korroloka T), the whole thing took between 2 and 3 hours.

Hope this helps. ^^

my guess would be that you didn't get the flask to put the clam water in. you get this from Washu who is in the same room you talked to Sohyon in, in norg.

Hello everyone,
I did this quest last night and all I can say is that having blm leveled to 17 really saved my a$$ some time. Also, OP warping to both the Elshimo Lowlands and Kuztoz regions really saved a lot of travel time.
Thanks to Altredix for posting the clam map coordinates.
Now back to leveling...

Currently 400k on Valefor. Now that the Archer's rings are somewhat harder to get and Snipers have thus risen, it is absolutely worth the time to get the ring.

woo .. did this quest a few days ago ... wow ... loooooong quest. i estimated about 5 hours of running around ... granted that's with death warping to Jeuno and then airshiping to most of the citys and gettign tele's when it was most convenient so haveing warp could speed things up some... but damn ... so much running around.
as for the directions on the walkthrough ... it's talking about the tunnel starting at the other end of the map ... (i don't acctually have the map so i'm not completley sure? but i'd assume the bastok ent comes on the south end of the map and the desert ent is on the north end... sooo .. looking at the map i'm guessing that on the north end that the first path on the left is the one you need.. once again .. i don't acctually have the map but from where i went around i think that that's about where it should be.

OK if you are one of those adventurers like me that got lost following this guy's directions in Korrokola tunnel trying to find the clams, maybe this will help better:

Clam 1, Map 1, F-10
Clam 2, Map 2, I-10
Clam 3, Map 3, K-6
Clam 4, Map 5, G-11

If you are not sure which map is 1,2,3,4 and 5, go to MysteryTour.com

Thank you.

The co-ordinates are very much appreciated, as I personally tend to compute concrete <pos>s much easier than I would general directions.

Hopefully these co-ordinates can be added to the main quest description somehow.

Rate up, in the meantime!

For the 3rd and 4th clam the guide says, can anyone tell me where it is? I don't get what the guide ment by
Quote:
- Head back again. Take the FAR LEFT exit on this map. Just follow the long room until you see it.
Keep following this path straight and you will run right into the clam.
- For the last clam, head back again. Cross the bridge this time, and take the first left.

I didn't get what it ment :(

Just want to note that in the very last scene in Lufaise Meadows, your choice in the second question doesn't seem to matter, as giving anything besides "Zoriboh" as your answer will just make her stare at you in disbelieve and ask again (it's fail safe! lmao).

I have access to Lufaise Meadows and Rudolfo gave me the quest, but for some reason Zoriboh only says "..." when I talk to him. The only thing I can come up with is that maybe I can't do this quest until I've completed the "Stop Your Whining" quest that Washu gives (since she's the one who gives you the flask).

If that doesn't work... I have no idea. It can't be fame, since I've already started the quest in Rabao...

The answer doesn't really matter I think since I try to tell her that it was her father send me to find her but she wouldn't believe and make me pick the name again. I tried many times but everytime the list pop up again. Then when I pick Zoriboh she finally tell me something then run off.

The Clams aren't monsters. They're targettable giant clams that you have to click on. If you're around L40 (not sure on exact number), you'll need Sneak as there are slimes that will aggro you along this route. I don't remember any sight-aggro monsters along the way.

what fame do you need for this? Zoriboh isn't saying anything about a girl in Norg..

I just traded 120 more Boyhoda Moss in Selbina, I have Lv.7 fame in Sandy, and I still can't get the quest. Ziriboh won't say **** about a girl in Norg.

Can I just go in Norg and continue from there?
