Mission Orders

The airship piloted by Louverance did not arrive in San d'Oria, but Port Bastok. How much longer will Nag'molada wait for your arrival at the northwestern tower of Pso'Xja?

Walkthrough

Go to North San d'Oria Cathedral and talk to Chasalvige (L-6) in the manuscript room.

Go to Port San d'Oria Airship departure room and talk to Anoki (H-6).

Next zone into Port Bastok and a cutscene with the next chapter's title opening will show. After that, go to Bastok Metalworks and talk with Cid.

If you have completed the series of 3 CoP quests from Raibaht, you should be able to see the name of the airship you've given being displayed in the cutscene.

Next go to Beaucedine Glacier to prepare to enter Promyvion - Vahzl. Enter via the NW tower where Nue spawns at (F-7). Walk straight in until you come to a Stone Door at (H-8). Check the door to activate a trap where a NM Golem Nunyunuwi spawns and attacks. Nunyunuwi has quite a low amount of HP (3500), BUT it possesses an incredible auto-regen ability that heals 100+ HP/sec!! Soloing it is virtually impossible. Store TP to 300% and do a Dark renkei or spam with summoner LV70+ abilities to finish it off in a single blow.

Enter the Stone Door after defeating the golem and take the elevator down. Check the Stone Door there for a cutscene. After the cutscene you will zone into Promyvion - Vahzl.

That'd be great except for the one-minute Blood Pact downtime. Have you done this before? This seems like speculations, to me. 70+ BP skills hit for a little over 1k, but you're looking at at least 3 smns to kill this guy in "1 hit" And if one of the hits miss, you're in trouble, he can regen 2,500 HP by the time BP is up again, according to this guide.

5-1 itself is called "The Enduring Tumult of War". Chapter 5 as a whole is called "The Return Home".

I have a problem. I went in and touched the Stone Door, popped the NM and was shocked because I hadn't read up on the quest and didn't know it would happen.

So I zoned out, rested to full, and decided to attempt to solo it.

I went back in, popped the NM again, and fought him to within 5% of his life before I ran out of MP thanks to his ridiculous Auto Regen.

So once again, I zoned out, rested up, and went in knowing full well that I could beat him easily now that I knew what I was up against.

As I apporached the Stone Door for the third time, I summoned Garuda, and touched the door to pop him for the final time.

...

The Door is firmly shut.

...

wtf.

I am now unable to pop him. Is there a limit to the amount of times you can spawn him in a single day? I can't think of any other reason why he won't appear now.
