Summary

A friend of Luto has used a magical costume kit to change into a child, but now he can't return to his original form. Luto wants you to help find a way to change him back.

Walkthrough

Part 02 of The Fellowship Quest

Speak to Luto Mewrilah in Upper Jeuno to start the quest.

After you have finished the cutscene with Luto, speak with Bheem again at the zone to Batallia Downs in Upper Jeuno. You will get another cutscene when you speak to him.

Next enter Eldieme Necropolis from the (G-8) entrance in Batallia Downs. There will be a ??? spot near then zone that will start a cutscene with the NPC that you picked from the list and the little girl that you learned about in the cutscene with Luto. When the cutscene ends it will spawn a skeleton type NM named Namorodo.

Once you defeat Namorodo, speak to your fellow quickly before he/she despawns otherwise you will have to redo the battle. Your fellow will advise you that they will see the little girl back to Jeuno safely.

Now that Namorodo has been dispatched, and the little girl is back safe in Jeuno head back to Upper Jeuno and speak to Luto Mewrilah again for the final cutscene in this quest. If you have enough fame to start the next quest you will need to zone out and back in to Upper Jeuno to be able to get the next quest.

i didnt have to wait any length in time b4 i was able to do fight again. just went to jeuno no cutscene and i went back and fought again.

on 3rd attempt i was like maybe speak to npc b4 i leave and when i did he said ill bring girl back to jeuno.
Fame?

I think you DO need fame to continue the quest, because some of my friends finished the 1st two quests and didnt get to mirror mirror. (BTW its JEUNO FAME)

I was fighting the skeleton and lagging bad. The skeleton was kicking my a$$ so I CALLED FOR HELP and ever one jumped in and killed it for me. "I DID NOT KILL THE SKELETON" When it was died I talked to my NPC and she advise me that she will see the little girl back to Jeuno safely. Bam part 2 of The Fellowship Quest is now over.

P.S. I was a 37 RDM/BLM and I have my Signal Pearl now.
Skellington... DEAD!

I took the skellington down in like five or six hits... he was a pushover... then again I'm a lvl 59 WHM so he kinda didn't have a chance (stoneskin+blink) = death... you can have this!

Not to mention if you are using a hammer or a staff you are doing blunt weapon damage which owns skellies. ^^ And this mob is easily soloable at level 40 (it can be harder to keep your NPC alive than yourself =P)

Took him down as 38 MNK/THF, I did about 50+ damage per hit and he went down pretty quickly. I took about 200 damage.

I found this guy easy. Man I was fighing against him as RDM38/WHM19. This guys was joke. My NPC was clobering and I was nuking. Took me less than 2 minutes to kill it.

Takes about 25 seconds as whm66/blm33. just used Divine Seal>Cure V then Elemental Seal>Banish III and then Holy. took care of it like it was a wild rabbit in W Ron.

Don't need to speak to NPC

I don't think that it is necessary for you to speak to your NPC buddy after the NM fight. I didn't and I was still able to do the Mirror, Mirror quest and get my signal pearl.

Yes, you do have to talk to your NPC buddy; I didn't and when I went to Upper Jeuno, I did not get the cutscene to end the quest. I had to go back to the E;diem Necropolis to fight the NM again ><

But I didn't speak to my NPC and I got the final cutscene. Are you sure that your NPC didn't die in the fight?

The reason I brought this up was that my friend and I did this quest and neither of us were able to talk to our NPC's before they despawned and everyone in line told us we'd have to do it again. We didn't want to stay in line for another two hours. When I came back to Jeuno and talked to Luto, to my surprise, I got the cutscene and was able to finish this and then do the Mirror, Mirror quest.
Sad..

This battle was sad. Easy sad. I ripped this guy apart like wet toilet paper on fire. All-in-all he did about 102 damage to me, none to Qiqiru (Wyvern) or my NPC. I'll tell you, I was sweating it before the battle; but I about cried at the end. I felt mighty. Then almost got beat up by a Gazer. >_>

This can be done in a party of 5 or less. The others had to have completed the quest and you have to be the one to spawn the Namorodo. Just tested and succeeded ^^

Ok, I got to the ??? in Eldime Necropolis Wednesday after the patch.

I killed the Skeleton NM, but before it died, my NPC left, I believe he took to much AOE damage, as I did have hate most of the time.
The problem was that the NM Drained back to full health when it was almost dead, so the fight just took to long.

Now I can't advance in the quest.

I did not talk to the NPC, so I am stuck.
The ??? will not spawn the skele again.
Luto says something about "it must be awful losing a child"
Bheem goes on about Jeuno in a way which would be in place long before this quest.

I don't know who else to talk to.
Is the NPC mother actually in Jeuno so I can talk to her? I dont remember her name.

HELP. I am falling way behind, and my NPC is not getting advanced.

You *can* advance the quest. If you or your NPC dies while fighting this NM, all you have to do is wait until the next game day and check the ??? again to spawn the monster. Even if you fail at 23:58, at 24:00 you can re-spawn the NM and try again.

You also do not need to zone to reset the ???, just wait till midnight and repop it.

Hope this helps Purple...

I can't advance.

The ??? says "It is not the time to investigate" or something like that.

Gonna go try again.

It has been RL days since the initial attempt and the NPC death.

--------------

Done. I think the ??? has just been hit to many times since there was a line. No line, and I just walked right up, and no problem.

Each person has to fight their own Skeleton monster. But if you go three at a time, there's more people getting to click on the ??? at once.
How hard?

I know that it is possible to do the fight alone, however i suppose 3 people would be ideal.
