Mission Orders

The crystal propulsion unit of Cid's airship has been damaged. You are to call Louverance back from Carpenters' Landing, and Shikaree Z from Bibiki Bay. You must also find the Chebukki siblings in Tavnazia and retrieve the vessel of light.

Walkthrough

Talk to Cid one game day after the last cutscene in PM 7-3 to start this mission. He will send you off to gather everyone. The order in which you do these three sections doesn't matter.

Bibiki Bay

In the northwest corner of Bibiki Bay there is a cave with a ??? inside (F-6). When you and your party are ready, touch the ??? to spawn an NM sea monk named Dalham. Once he is dead, touch the ??? for a cutscene.

Carpenters' Landing

Enter the zone from the East side of Jugner Forest. The ??? is located at (I-9) at the edge of the water. Buff up and when you are ready, touch the ??? to spawn a Tonberry NM named Cryptonberry Executor. Soon after, two Cryptonberry Assassins and one Tonberry's Elemental will spawn. Because he can use Mijin Gakure, it's advised that you kill the Executor first. Kill them all and touch the ??? for a cutscene.

Misareaux Coast

For the final NM, head to a shed in (E-7) of Misareaux Coast. There will be a point there called Storage Compartment. When your party is ready, touch the Storage Compartment to spawn a NM bugard named Bogglemann. Kill him and check the Storage Compartment for a custcene.

After you kill all of these NMs, head back to Bastok and talk to Cid. For the last cutscene, talk to Sueleen in Sealion's Den.

Popped some powder boots, clicked the ???, ran with it to tunnel without its friends and my CC, started beating on it from there, went through 4 pets i beleive, with reward call beast was up again, easy fight, slapped back on powder boots, ran to ???, got cutscene. CC had incredible evasion on throat stab, was great. Went as 75bst/nin.

Bibiki bay was easier, just familared some Dhalmel T pet on the way, easy fight.

COP area fight was abit harder, had to switch between mantraps till call beast was up, was long fight like 20-30 min, but /nin helped greatly between pet swaps. Only sad part is some whm got killed for curing me that ran by lol, hate control is non-existant on this mob, good luck. Beast Power...

Here is a little more info on that particular fight.

I duod this with a WHM and myself as a BLU last night. In order to avoid agro you should pull the nin all the back to the opening of the cave. You can engage him there.

You have roughly 5 minutes to get him as low in HP as possible before he 2hrs. When he announces his two hour, the other tonberries will despawn, and he will explode. He was @ 20% and I ate 1100 dmg with barfira and cocoon up. After that, go ahead and kill him, then examine the ??? for the CS.

If you kill him before he two hours, the other tonberries will still be there and you will NOT get the CS and you WILL have to zone everyone in the pt before you can try it again.

I just soloed one as THF, the PLD soloed one and the RDM kited one.

the 2 BLMs helped the RDM. the DRK stood there like a ****** untill he decided to fight the one with the PLD.

CoP Static > Tonberries.

how far you took Ninja from 3 ads? He need to be quite far to not call others for help, and then if you kill him fast (2 beastmasters usually not kill soo fast when use pets take like 5-10 mins) need to wait for rest to depop.
Or SE fixed it :(

when i tried that i didn't work, so we had to pull the ninja, kill him, and then take the other 3 before they depopped.

how far you took ninja from 3 others? it need to be quite far to not agro, and need to wait little for 3 to depop.

to beat NM at carpenters landing not need to fight all 4 tonberry, need 1 person to pop Ninja mob and pull it to the exit of tunnel. This coz he will be out of call range so when other tonberrys pop he cant call them for help. After you beat him 3 ads will just depop and you may safe check ???.
I fought him 2 times this way, 2 beastmaster, jug pet and even his mijin not hurt so much when you can call second pet.
