Do you have to dig?

Where Do I dig? how do I dig? I just can't find these orders...

You don't have to dig it. Just go to highland go near G-8. It's behind one of the windmills. All you need to do just go near the windmills and start hitting your target key (for me it's either F-8 or Tab). Hope this help.

My friend did this quest with Rank 1 and 7 quests completed. But did not do the dog collar quest. If this information helps. I think one of the keys is you have to talk to Evi then Rafaela and then Evi again to get the quest.

Have 10 quests done. Talk to Evi first. Then talk to Rafaela. Then talk to Evi again and you should get the quest.
Pre-Requesit

10 Quests done i believe is the Pre-requesit
Fame is pre-req
# Nov 14 2003 at 7:56 PM Rating: Default
Pre-req for this quest is your fame. Go talk to Flaco in front of the inn in Port, if he thinks your name is a snail, then your fame is not high enough. If he thinks your name sounds familiar, then you are good to go.
where is evi?

where is evi located in this area?
got the quest finally
# Nov 11 2003 at 11:38 PM Rating: Default
I had problems getting this quest too, i talked to Evi about 20 times and he never gave it to me. Then today, i was running the dog collar quest, i swang by, talked to evi, no quest. Went and handed in the dog collar and on the way out, bugged Evi one more time. Lo and behold, he gave me the quest that time. I dont know if the dog collar quest is a pre-requisite or if its luck. It had just turned 22:00 game time when i talked to Evi. Hope this info helps!

I just finished the dog collar quest, still no go. I'd be willing to bet you have to have a certain number of quests done before Evi gives it to you.

Maybe race has something to do with it aswell.

what i have noticed is my friends who havnt got rank 2 cant get the quest but those who have can do it!
restrictions?
# Nov 11 2003 at 3:35 PM Rating: Default
Is there a certain time of day you need to talk with them? Be grouped? not grouped? There's got to be some sort of restriction involved.

I talked to both of them in every order, & he just complains about Sandoria...
Here you go!!
# Nov 08 2003 at 7:22 PM Rating: Good
Alright, to get this quest you must talk to Evi, then Raphaela (Standing right next to him), then talk to Evi again. He'll send you to the Highlands.

The orders are located in the Upper-left hand corner of tile G-8 on your Highlands map, in a ??? on the back side of a windmill. You WILL NOT be able to pick up the orders if you did not receive the quest from Evi (They are a key item).

Return the orders to Evi to receive a Scale Mail as a reward (Confirmed.)

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I've tried talking to him and that woman next to him in every possible sequence, but no luck. He doesn't give me the quest, he just keeps talking about the same things.

Are there restrictions on this quest??

My friend and I have also been having a hard time with this quest.

We talk to both Evi and the female next to him, but never get the quest.
Is this race/class restricted?

We have rank 2 and have done at least 15 other quests in Bastok.
Please help :)

Is there a pre-req for this quest? I have checked with Evi everytime I pass by him and he never asks me to get the orders. After talking to him I have gone out to the Windmill and found ??? but it aways says "you thought you saw something but nothing is there"
?
# Nov 05 2003 at 10:50 AM Rating: Decent
I found the ??? near G-8 but it says I thought I saw something but found nothing. Is there a certain lvl for this?

The key item "Tattered mission orders" can be found in grid G-8, the NW corner of the grid square against a windmill. Just keep hitting TAB or your equivalent key until you see ???. Then press your auto-lock key to face the direction of the item. When you are close enough press enter to pick it up. Make sure your inventory has space .....
