Why use this spell when you have WHM subbed and you can just cast poisona and save you the song...

And, also, because Poisona is lvl 7 which means you won't be able to use it until lvl 14 BRD, whereas this song is lvl 9...

Now I know I'm not the brightest crayon in the crayon box ... but seeing as I'm leveling my BRD as we speak (came to check spells etc) I would IMAGINE it is a good idea to have for several reasons:
1) SONGS DON'T COST MP !! Poisona takes 8mp, same as a Cure 1 ....... which would be important to you? Singing a song, or wasting your time casting it, MAYBE even a spell interuption or two *did I mention no spell interuption with Bard???*
2) Even if it doesn't protect you from the Poison itself, it's a damn cool song !!
I rest my case!

sure this is an alright song, but when u consider some of the other spells you can have up to this point it seems kinda pointless to waste one of your two(or your only one if u sub bard) songs on this..

I'm pretty sure you can buy it in windust near the mithra who gives the ranger advanced job quest.
