Has anyone else had a problem with accuracy when using Last Resort? When I hit Last Resort, my accuracy goes way down, I can hardly hit the monster at all. Was wondering if maybe this was a side effect of Last Resort.

Do you think the reason it pulls hate and lowers defense is to <gasp> setup a WS and/or Drain and/or Blood Weapon? Gets the hate. Not like benidiction, though. When you are all soft and squishy, the mob loses hate faster when it wollops you. Not like when you cure for like 7k hp. This abillity's timer could be shorter..

at lower lvls, DO NOT, use this JA unless you have a REALLY good tank that can hold some good hate.
Last Resort pulls almost, maybe more hate than provoke.
This JA isnt really good in all as 30s/5mins is not worth the hate spike.
From comparing using Last Resort with a WS @ lower lvl > mid lvls, the max dmg it will increase is about 10-20% dmg.

Why does "Last Resort" raise ATT while lowering DEF, while the PLD counterpart, "Sentinel", raises DEF with no penalty?

a) PLD needs to be lv. 30 before they get it. DRK only needs to be 15 to get Last Resort.
b) Sentinel does squat to help you damage the enemy, but helps you survive longer as a tank (PLD). Last Resort makes you take more damage, but lets you deal more damage as well, which is obviously a big deal for DDs (DRK).
c) If you had posted this a year later, I'd tell you to shut up. But odds are, you don't even remember you made this post.

What about "Beserk"? Are they the same?
Actually, the counterpart of this move is the WAR move Defender, which does do the opposite.

It seems like Last Resort doesn't add as much Attack as Berserk does. I'm sure it would do a lot with berserk + last resort though. :o

It isn't neseccerily a case of medication he didn't take, he could be dipping into a little too much "medication"...

It does stack. Berserk+Last Resort+Soul Eater+Meat Mithkabobs: can all be stacked.

It's not for use like Berserk.
Like it's namesake, you use it as a Last Resort if someone starts getting pummelled and you have to try and play the hero.
The duration is fairly short.

whenever im in a party and use this ability i always get hit by the enemy its like i using provoke.
