This ability does not increase your defense against thunder attacks, but adds an area effect of Enthunder. Effective for parties heavy in the dual-wielding department. (Tried it in a PT with 4 dual-wielders, it was really sweet)

Although the damage was 1-3 per hit, that's about 2-6 extra damage per person, which adds up over a minute (roughly 8-24 extra damage per round for all four people). Something to do when you're not needed for Aerial or Frost Armor and want to make a small contribution :)

i just got shivas "frost Armor" and as it stated every one DOES get ice spikes. around 4-6 damage from every mob attack in yhoator jungle. those mandys were dead in nearly 20-30 seconds. WHICH is about the time the spikes last....you see they ARE as strong..but deffinetly not the same amount of time..

to bring this around...

i cant wait to get enthunder i saw a smn in yhoat use it all over his pt..now i just need ramuh ; ; IM ON SERAPH INVITE ME TO A PRIME AVATAR PT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Just got this and thought it was useless - it is not - this spell casts Enthunder on the party. It causes physical attacks to have additional Thunder damage just like the RDM spell - way cool on a pt of primarily melee - adds 4 - 8 thunder damage per hit per melee party memeber - awesome for dual weilding party members especially.
