just started the quest you only need lvl 3 windy fame to start it. got marble after about 20 lizzies after switching to thf sub for TH. Cake walk

hummmmm....so if im a whm and i get this scroll do , and i dont have the Yhoat Teleport Crystal. Will I or Will I not be able to teleport there.?

It is in f-9 just got the crystal today - not that hard to find.

tough little thing to find. Its in F-11 but to get there you need to go around the north path and then cut south. Seems to be the way with FF areas...the route to your objective is always around the longest path possible.

Actually I do believe it is at f-9. it's in the very southwester corner. f-11 is a path that leads you back to yahtunga. He is right-- once you get to this little area, g/e/10-11, you take the northernmost path, then go south again. hidden amongst a circle of rocks is the telepoint. i don't know that i'll ever use it however, because it's crawling with monsters and there is no chocobo available at this telepoint, and it's a very long hike to where people camp to kill mandras and gobs.

Where is the Teleport Spot located in Yhoator Jungle, and do you need to use crystal there before being able to have a whlm portal you there.

It's in the clearing at F-9. And yes, like all other crags you need the crystal prior to transport. Just makes everyone have to go through the travelling process at least once.

You don't need the crystal to successfully cast the spell, but if you cast it and don't have the crystal, you'll just remain where you are .. and everyone else who has it will vanish.
I've not seen this myself, but I've heard of people speak of it, and it seems reasonable enough to me.
If I'm wrong, then sorry .. though I wouldn't post if I wasn't at least somewhat sure about what I was saying.

Ok, finally got all 6 scrolls.
High fame is a necessary of course. I can't say the exact amount, but I did complete the main three teleport quests before attempting this one. I forget the name of the NPC, but he is in Khazam, and is the Elvaan missionary next to the exit. He'll ask you to get him a piece of Elshimo Marble. This is a rare drop from Ivory Lizards that are found in nearby underground passages in the jungle. Once you get the item, you must show it to the NPC again, then he'll send you to San D'oria with a key item. You must get a sculptor to make a statue out of that marble. The NPC in San D'oria is located near the blacksmith's guild in E-5 I believe. You'll get his name anyway and he's in plain sight. Come back the next real-life day (he needs a week or two of game time), and he will have completed the statue. Return to Khazam with the statue and give it to the missionary, who will give you the Teleport-Yhoat spell for your hard work.

Well, I was able to get this quest the first time I came to Kazham. I only have rank 3 Windy fame, so I don't think you need way high fame. I haven't finished the quest simply because I still get pwned by the lizzies, but I didn't need to have the other 3 tele scroll quests done or anything.
