Is this true or not?

http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Furniture_Quest

Wiki says if you put a Armoire in your mog house and want for the next conquest update the moogle will give you a protect 4 scroll. I did this and did not recieve the scroll. Now I see that the Requirements are atm unknown on wiki, but I now assume that it has something to do with your nations fame i asume. Mine is very low atm.

Please help me out.

Thank you

ummm... you know... the amount of time it takes you to reach the letter a in the alphabit... plus a half... that should come out to about a.5 casting time.

Sorry for the useless post, I think the a.5 is kindof funny.

Whats the defense bonus?
# Oct 25 2004 at 10:01 PM Rating: Decent
Whats the defense bonus on this? I assume its 55, since protect is only +10, but then it seems to increase by 15 def. every type (pro 2 def+25, pro 3 def+40). Please tell me if im wrong.

i'm pretty sure that your right. i thought that it raise your def. by 10 for each lvl of protect you used....protect V= 50....or what ever but i'm not that sure on how it goes

No he is right it is 15+ for every level

Note:The duration of how long this spell as with all protects/shells relys on your level.

I dont know the exact formula for this but i know a Protect IV wouldnt last for more than a min on a level 1 char.

edited for the Note

Well, not exactly.

All buff spells have their duration reduced if cast on a character who is not of sufficient level to have the spell. So, for refresh for instance, a lvl 41 spell, it will be full duration (2.5 min) for all characters lvl 41 and higher, but lvl 40 and below get a penalty, and lower you go the worse the penalty. So for a level 1 it lasts like 3 seconds (I know, I tried it). Protect and shell are the same, they give full duration of 1/2 hour if the character is the level of the spell or higher, but a lower duration otherwise.

The only buff I'm unsure of is Haste. Since whm get haste at 40 and rdm get it at 48, it's the only buff in the game that comes at 2 different levels and can be cast on someone else. I think it uses level 40 for it's base, but it might depend on the caster.
