I was told that the Barparalyze was dropped off by the yaguados, yet I never had seen one either. Makes me wonder if it was a random pick by the server or certain time of the day/week. Who knows. :-)

This is Barparalyze, not Paralysis Defense, and is said to drop off Goblin Gamblers, but I have never seen it.
