For those who do not know this roll is used to boost magic attack :-) very useful to BLMs like myself.

no just means the best job it is for, a blm doesnt have to be in ur pt.
Actually, it means that if that job is present in your party you'll receive an enhanced version of the effect.
For instance on Evoker's Roll, if a summoner is present in your party, it bumps the refresh effect up a point.
In this case, it would mean that your Magic Atk Bonus is enhanced further if your party contains a black mage.
