Spell details for Bludgeon  

i ran into ruins at lvl16 and trained everything in there with provoke
used battle dance and they all fell down except one
the last one used bludgeon and i used azure lore
nuked it with wild oats

damn i thought this was going to be a pretty hard one to get but i was 20-22 dont remember but i killed #2 i think...it was right in the front and the first one i fought used it right before i killed it...so i learned it really fast...i got this when i took a trip to windy and that trip was worth it i got Healing Breeze, Wild Oats, Cocoon, Bludgeon, and Feather Storm in about an hour that was a pretty good day =)

I found this one funny, I thought I was in for alot of killing to get this one but....

I walked in through the Southern most Tower in W. Sarutabaruta, walked in and though I got aggro from the #2's I smoked them pretty quick. I got to the #3's a little into the zone and decided to see if they'd do Bludgeon, and they did. The #3's coined at EP and DC @ 11.

Now I saw a 16 Blu trying to get this same thing off of #4's and #5's, and as soon as I got my Bludgeon off of the 2nd one I fought I saw him with a train of about 10 Cards half #4 and half #5's trying to zone. I tried to tell him that he should go for the #3's to get it since the probably coined to him as EP, but I'm pretty sure he thought he didn't need to even though he was dead, and he had help from a 25 Whm(LMAO) who also had to zone(LMAO). But needless to say an hour later he finally emerged from there, so I'm assuming that he finally got it. I was outside trying to get Cocoon(Cocoon and Pollen have been the hardest for me to get so far, period) when they emerged from the tower.

But my advice for any new Blu for Bludgeon is to go get it as close to 11 as you possibly can, have your Blu Magic Skill capped(it helps oh so much), and go after the #3 Cards, dont listen to anyone who says #4 or #5 Cards. #3's were easy as hell and they'll do Bludgeon as well.

got this on my 1st try!^^ i'm getting magic upon reaching required use lvl, so in default i had togo to west saruta and the southern most tower and fight number 4 and 5 cards but they were ep gl to the rest of you!

at East Sab. if u look at towards the top of the map u will see a tower thing on the map go there there tons of ez ones there

I found some in east Sarutabaruta. In the very north part of East Sarutabaruta, there is an entrance to some ruins (the exact name escapes me this morning) but if you head in, you can find some easy ones. I got pwned by some NM Shadow that hangs out behind the doors, so be careful.

I can see why you ask where they are. I had played the game a year and a half before I had ever fought one of these. I'm from Sandy though. Probably common for Windy folks.

Makes for a nifty solo SC, plus if you "Burst Affinity" before you hit this macro then start casting "Bomb Toss" right after "Bludgeon" lands. POW solo SC >> MB! handy in any PT and solo it just rocks out, if your spells don't get interupted that is.

Lvl to use is 18, MP cost is 16, BMP cost is 2, physical spell, strong vs. Undead, Arcana based.

Gives STR+1 when equipped, does a nifty threefold attack on the enemy.

(And yes, it is, erm, slightly overpowered >.>;;)
