good spell imo...Good damage and is very helpfull on the BCNM40 Royal Jelly. I am pretty sure every tiger monster uses this got this while I was afk and my friend was running me thru jugner ~.~ so I dont know much on the spell learning part.... Happy spell hunting.

This spell is a cone AoE (as stated by alla's spell description). What it means by this is it will hit multiple targets if they are behind your primary target in a cone shaped area. Example:

In that example, the Innocent Mob would not be hit by this spell.
----------------------------------------
YOU--------PRIMARY TARGET-------
----------------------INNOCENT MOB
----------------------------------------
In this other example, the Innocent Mob would get hit simply because he is behind the primary target. Do note that if a monster is too far, obviously it won't get hit. Whenever you see cone AoE or breath AoE, this is what it refers to.
As for the actual spell...
As far as damage is concerned, Bludgeon (obviously) does more. In situations where you're farming or you have link, Claw Cyclone would likely be more useful, but when you're fighting a single monster, you can find better mp:damage spells. Also, this spell is a ranged spell. IE, you don't have to be within melee range to cast this spell on a monster.

according to the in game spell discription... this is an AOE spell... but this says it is single... i havn't tried it yet though, anyone else know anything about that? what does it mean by range "cone"?

Can this be done as a 20BLU/10NIN Elvaan? Just wondering if I have to sub WHM to do this.

got this from a tiger in jugner forest (near the entrance to carpenters landing)
i was lvl 20 taru blu/whm with a lot of evasion gear and used sole sushi.
casted cocoon, pulled a tough tiger with paralyze. and started to fight with sprout smack, wild oats and battle dance.
after those i just spammed bludgeon > head butt > pollen. when the tiger was almost dead he used claw cyclone.
activated azure lore, and learned it from the first mob. :-) and a good 240xp too (with empress)
when you have beast-killer and paralyze active, tigers can be done even as a taru ^^.
until now i tried the azure lore 3 times and every time i learned the move.

Definately not easy to get solo at level 20... I had to use my NPC to help me take a few down, and although I beat a few tigers this way, the orcs surrounded me... :(
