Well they say you can only learn spells 6-10 levels before you can use it but I learned Bomb Toss at 15 while soloing Goblins for EXP. And I was quite shocked to have learned it at 15 since it is a lv28 spell.

Got is from goblin in Valkrum dunes
Got Bomb Toss @ lvl19 from a Goblin Tinkerer T @ Buburimu Peninsula. Does anyone know what is the lvl difference for a spell to be learned? I mean, I've learned a lvl28 spell with 9 lvls of difference, so what's the limit?
I'm not particularly impressed with the damage per MP for this one. Sure you can burst it, but oddly I get better damage from bursting with Blastbomb than Bomb Toss (which costs less to cast). One thing to note though, this bomb is AoE and could get you more attention than you wanted. Avoid using it in crowded places.

I'm really excited to hear all about this ability. There are so many thoughts on the mechanics of this move when used by mobs.
I've heard all sorts of things about this one. Some say if you have hate, you can walk towards the mob and it increases the drop rate. Some say shield and weapon bashing work. I know I LOVE when my tank sees the mob get the move ready and then disengages the target lock and runs the bomb out of the party's AoE range.
If anyone on Kujata wants to play around with it, I'd be willing to bodyguard you. I'm a 75 WHM and would love to find out things like if it can be dropped (I'm guessing it can) and the type of experience penalty you get for killing yourself that way.

This spell doesn't take any damage from the caster, it is however a pretty decent range AoE fire spell. Another one of the ranged spells they gave us (there aren't many). It's a good Burst Affinity Fire spell too. I wrote my solo BLU Liquefaction macro on the "Bludgeon" page. I usually MB this one off myself.

So does this thing have a chance of killing you aswell like the goblins?
Lvl to use is 28, MP cost is 42, BMP cost is 3, magic spell, AoE attack, Beastman based.
Gives STR+2 when equipped, does fire damage (high dmg, too.)
I erm, accidently used this in Yhoater Jungle when a Lizzy was behind me... wasn't a great thing XD
