As a Black Mage, I found this spell to be mainly useful in the Valkurm Dunes up until around level 13-14. It sort of trails off in it's effectiveness after that, but before that it's pretty useful, but mainly for Black Mages.

this spell saves more mp then all the other spells near its level which can reduce downtime
