I finished crafting 20 clasps and tried to increase my skill points and I got the same clasp quest instead of a different item to craft. It happened with other crafting skills too but, I read an update the crafting has been fixed. Is crafting in Crescent Reach broken or do I have to increase my skill points even more making the same item before, it will give me a new quest? I did not have this happen with the brewing skill though.
I have not done any crafting in Crescent Reach, but I did do some trade skill quests in Abysmal Sea. Even though I had reached the max skill point increases for a certain item, I had to create a set amount of items before the quest giver would give me a different item to create. Maybe these work the same?

It's not broken. That's simply how the teachers function in Crescent Reach.

the quests ones will give you the same task over and over until a Certain number of that task is turned in then it will update to a new task to craft.
