I've been having trouble getting the above live streams to work, so I've had to dig up a few other sources. Here's what I'm currently listening to:

<http://magikarp46.com:8000>

DRS 6000 - Final Frequency radio has been a favorite of mine for several months, but it has had a lot of problems lately. The same goes for Gaming Music and FFRadio/Netscape. Smiley: frown

The best method I have to find other live stream FF stations is through Winamp Radio search page. I just type "Final Fantasy" into the Search For box.

/M

Edit: Why do I even try to communicate in the morning?! Damn brain won't wake up...

They actually save the file you download to C:\Documents and Settings\<insert username>\Local Settings\Temp just dig it up and copy it somewhere else =)

Yah, I noticed this too. It doesn't seem to have any of the songs that came with Rise of the Zilart (about 20 or so songs). Here's my suggestion for getting FFXI music. There's a program out there that allows you to convert mp3s into the FFXI music file type. If you reverse engineer the idea, you can change the FFXI music into MP3 format so you can listen to it at your whim. Granted, too, that its nice to be able to set up your own music tracks for the game too. Anyways, play around with it, it can be found here: http://www.lowfyr.com/downloads/ffxi/Ximc004.zip

Its in Japanese, but its not too hard to figure out if you play with it for a bit. I'm confident that you can all figure it. ;)

I can get FFRadio/Netscape to work for a little while, but then it will suddenly lose connection and just keep giving me a "Your selection is taking longer than expected to load. Do you want to continue?" error. Somedays DRS and GamingMusic will simply not load or have lots of buffer issues. This is all at work, mind you, so I'm beginning to wonder if there is a network issue that is causing the problems. I work on a university campus, however, so I don't see how bandwith could be a problem.

you mention FF music and don't mention OC ReMix?

FOR SHAME.

http://www.ocremix.org

it's pretty intuitive; if you want the FF music specifically, click on 'F' :)

True, I love that site. I've stumbled across what looked like a live stream of ocremix music, but couldn't get it to work. Has anyone else encountered it and/or gotten it to work?
