[Money] [Do You Need it?]Follow

Ok ppl just a lil about me , english isnt my 1st language so this guid might suck bit i well give u what u need and i know i well ruin the econmey not much but it well ruined . im a lv60rdm main on unicorn took me 60 months of slow leveling and statics with friends and non friends to get ther it was fun but last 2 months it got so boring . . . but thats not why im writing the guid im writing it for some reasons:
1) thos F***ers who pretend they are female players and suck the money out of high lv players /sigh i know a few and loool they should be ashamed of them selfs
2) alot of newbs are wasting time trying to make money but suck @ it
3) this is my way so dont expect alot.

ways to make money:
A) Buy gil. . . ( Omfg get a life id never spend real money on gil im having a hard time paying for the monthly fee..)

B) Make a mithra charcter find ur self a horny tarutaru (Prefared) or a long elvan ( PLDs mostly they are courpted)
And ***** ur way through him and suck the gil out of that sucker mauahahahhahaha ( -_- not recommended )

C) MY WAY ( Or the highway ;)):
Mining: ok here it is the simplest way to money and heres what i did i bough only the hands since i was poor( Keep in mind after the 1st trip u should make enough money to be able to buy the other parts )@ the time and went with a friend for RSE quest in gusgen mines i see a mining point and like ohhhhh ok lets see if it works (4 darksteel ores on a row) i was goin crazy and fell in love with mining for 1 month even though alot of ppl camped it 3 campers non stop mining i saved all all the Zince i got to level my goldsmithing it was nice money 30-50k/2hrs or so

best spots to mine and guids of mining:
spots by level:
1)Zurhan mines: nice iron incom sells for 500-700g on AH and u mine them fast since they are rated A+ in that area a nice incom and ur near aH and u dont need any level since nothing aggros in thos mines.

2)Proboulo minesLV20-30+:
thos are great for mtl.ore which can be leveled on in goldsmithing 32>40 u can ask the mines to trade them and u sythinze them for them so they sell it for more profite and u gain skill up but i doubt they well.

2)Gusgen mines:LV-25-45+
darksteel and silver and gold and zinc ores:
Thos are ur money makers u could get some firecrystals and sythinze thos copper and zinc ores into brass ingots saving space and not throwin them away competition is big in gusgen mines alot of ppl from lv 25-75 mine ther ( seeking + mining)
u should check the maps for Mining in *mystry tour* and memorize their spawning time its best u concetrat on 3-4 if thers alot of ppl mining

((* somthing good about gusgen mines i was lv 50 RDM when i used to mine ther i could take elements on killing off earth + lightning elements is a nice profite earth goes for 1k-1.2k (somtimes crazy 1.7k happend only once) and lightning between 1.2k-2k) most of the time id drop all the mining spot when i see the icon that elements have spawned they mean more money than mining since mining is random and drops of elements are
1-4 clusters thats nto a bad profite.))

4)Ifirt's culdrons:LV25-85+
ok i never mined ther but a friend rdm lv 60 used to mine ther and on his 1st time he got lucky and got about 800k in 3 hours 4 addamn ores and other ores it seems like a nice way to make money but u need to either be sneaky with a lv 25 whm or a higher level job with (sneak + invis) keep in mind some mobs ther aggro to magic so u need some prism powders. . .

2)Crafting: the only craft i made money off was Goldsmithing and this was a good source of non stop money. after leveling my gold smithing to 20 i started doing silver ingots
let me explain a littel here the guild has a random price appearnce like on fire day the guildstore well have silver or for 315 OMG 315g a ore? THATS FREEE MONEY u can make profite for like 14-10k each stack of silver ingot stack u put up on AH

Silver ignot = 4 silver ores + fire crystal (avrg price)
= (4 x 315) + 250 = 1510g
stack of silver ingots = 12 x 1510 = 18120g = 18.12k

( silver stacks usualy sold between 29k-32k)
profite max = 32 - 18.12 = 13.88k profite for 1 stack

so thats like 13.5-16.5k profite each stack IF U buy the ores on the right day i had a mule setup in bastok it coasts 1$ but its a good feeling to make money on ur own insted of reason #1 whyim making this thread. . . i got it up to lv 20 with profite but then i started skilling up with loss so if u wana just make money dont go up more than 20-21 goldsmithng and thers another way to make money but it would coast a bit more in Goldsmithing get up to lv 38-40 and start making mtl.ingots
mythrial or w/e i dont spell right.

u can sell them seperetly ignot ingot for more profite selling them for 7.2k each u would make 24-14k profite if u bough the ores from AH for 1.4k each or bough the ores from guildstore room for 1.5k each thats easy money too

heres a hint on how to sell if somting is selling for 30k i wouldnt put mine for 30k i would putit up for 29.300 or 29.830 thos 700g are worth it if it sells fast AND DONT underestimate that 1k each stack it does make a diffrence in the end Every mountin starts with a stone ( i just made that up i know its lame [ the phraze idiot dont be slow!])

Woodworking : hmmmmmm thers a guid to making money with woodworking heres a summry ofit though i never tried it it seems a good way of making money get ur woodworking to lv 30 its realy easy and doesnt coast alot and u might gain money on the way doin it buy/farm windcrystals and go lumberjacking for a few hours sythnize the lodges u can sythinze into lumber and the ones u cant should mean more money sold as lodges and when ur done just go sell w/e u got on u .

you can make money through[Black] LUMBERJACK as well
making the stacks u make about 1-1.2k cheaper and Even HQing
is nice everynow and then Arrowoodlumber and Ash Lumber are nice for that.[/Silver]

cooking: ok after getting cooking up to 60 the only recipe that seems to make fast fast ( incredibly fast ) money is yagudae drinks i talking about puting them on ah coming back in 20 mins and finding them sold for 500g-700 profite imagin selling them for 3 hours les calculate and see

3hours/20mins = 9 ( the 7 is 7 AH spaces) 600 is avrg price

9 x (7x 600) = 37800g = 37.8k/3hr
9 x (7x 700) = 44100g = 44.1k/3hr


not bad huh? keep in mind it might be faster or slower im not 100% i never cared about money realy but i knew how to make mine if i needed it i spent the last money making ways to make money. . . cause i was bored and most of my real life friends were not playin anymore i wasnt realy leveling . . . anyhow. . try and buy the ingredints from Regional vendors if u wana make that kind of profite if u dont u wont make any

thers many ways depending in level and crat that u can make money that i didnt do but thought about . . .

[Navy]Alchemy : EX: Silver bullets

silver bulletx33 = 1firesand + 1 silver ingot + 1 fire crystal
= 1.2k + 1.51 + 0.25
= 2.96 say 3k each
ok so u need 3 of these to make a whole stack OK!
total coast of 1 silver bullet stack (99)= 3 x 3 = 9k

and silver bullet stack is sold for 14-16k so profite would be: profite = 15k - 9k = 6k each stack

just an example -_- u just gara find ur own way man money making is hard i know when u start but then it gets so easy in crafting im gona stop with craftin section here. . .

***Farming: ok thers a few things id recommned to farm NOT NM farming Farming i dont camp NMS did once never again. ..

1) Teleport-mea area u can farm dhalema for their meat + skin
dont know how much meat is now butu can always use it ur self if u got cooking or sell it ( dhalema pie = 18%+ attack)
skin = 550g-700g each
and if u got leather craft up ( i think its easy never tried it)
u can farm and stack leathers and sell them in stacks ( much better to sell in stacks when farming always think stacks)
level needed in this area id say 30+ and 35+ best

2)FARMING SAPLINGS: ok well saplings are kinda eveywher and thir drop rate is not so bad they drop seeds that sell for 5-7k
fruit seeds 6-7k
vegi. seeds 3-7k
grain seeds ( cheap) 3k-5k
herbel seeds 6-7k

3)FARMING MOSE+TREECUTTINGS : ok drop rate is ****** unless ur lv 55+ and farming in sanctury of zeith i heared drop rate is alot better ther not bad for 40-50k a stack which can be droped in 1hr i heared

( sorry i didnt farm much only for phlanex and dispel so ur gona have to forgive me in the farming section and thers alot more ways but i dont like wasting time farming . . . its not that productive but if u must its the only way/cheap way)

*** Farming Gold Ingots
ok u need to be a lv 70+ BST ( thats what i confirmed) or a lv 60+ small party like 3-5 ppl is good with a nice setup main thing is one of u needs to be Goldsmithing lv 50 ( cant help u with that ^^ GL leveling goldsmithing muahahahahha) u kill Orc in monistic cavren ( in Davoi the coffer area underground) and they drop a Gold Orc Mask that can be dysthinzed into Goldingots goldingots can be sold for 30-34k on AH not bad considring u get a golden mask in about each 20mins ( BST solo if party then when?) well i never did this but i recommend doin it if ur a high level with low income and lots of friends with same level who dont make much :P

***Farming Fire Elements in east altep desert :
well not much i can say here expect the level i think lv 55+ is good enough or 2ppl lv 50 is good on healer 1DD they are nice profite and they Pop fast
OK peeps heres the thing thers an NM Spider that spawns south of teleport-Altep it drops a neck lv 64 +5 enfebling magic
sells for about 100-300k on our server ( not sure about price) its said it spawns near the sand vorix but u have to keep killing the spiders in that block its a lv 50 NM so bring a friend it hits hard and its not camped that much :D~ which is a good thing

thers a button called Quests and under it thers by type? push that then push spells THATS UR MONEY MAKER go sell these babys
u can check fame fourms i dont have time to explain how to make fame easiests way is Quest " the best" in selbina trading mose is best think of it as if ur gona get the money back from selling the scrolls that ur gona get . . .

( unless u wana raise price or its more than 100k)


edite: back...ok not much i can say i think farming + crafting what u farmed is a bad idea it just wasts time and i dont wana waste time :s id rather be poor than waste time dont ask me why

*** teleportaion aka Taxi
u need to be whm im not whm to do that and u spend money to buy spells to teleport ppl so u need a headstart or do the quest by ur self which is time consuming but worth it . . . i mean 5k/15min isnt so bad is it? but what if thers 3-4 other taxis. . . or not many ppl want teleport bad time zone (dont match the time when most players are online) i wouldnt recommend leveling whm to make money off this.

***NMs
im bad @ this im 0/12 with VE yes i know hot to claim it easly but it just doesnt drop . . . and i dont have time to camp any NM waiting 1-3hours for an NM to pop and 1-10 other ppl are camping it with u the chances of it poping in a newb+voke face is like 75% while u spent the last 2-3hours widescaning and killing place holders. . just not worth it somtimes somtimes it is

only NM i might farm if im high enough for it is Aquaries in Boyahda tree with a 10% chance of droping cloth ( i wouldnt sell it id ask somone to craft it but thats just me i dont need the money what im i gona do with 1 mil im mage and i allready got money) RDM lv 70+ should be abble to do him

ok this is realy fun and worth it i only killed simrugh once and it didnt drop but god o god it was fun took us 5:26 mins to kill it party of 5 RDM BRD NIN THF MNK ^^

camping HNM is fun and very motivating to play FFXI too bad u have to split the money :P

hmmm ok lowest level HNMs are Simrugh and ROC and lumberjack the best one that makes profite is roc and simrugh ( 8mil boots)and roc Drops cloth + healing staff sold for 1mil

ok heres the thing i suggest u get ur leather craft up to lv.30s so u can sythnize thos skins that u get off thos rams which is alot and sells great and i dont think getting to lv 30s leather craft is that hard ( DIDNT try it) but i did farm rams before not for money source for fun source with friend get some darkcrystals Of ah cant farm thso unless ur lv 60+ rdm at least now why sythinze them? Cause skins arnt stackable but leather is the sytnize recipe u can get it off alkazham site here.
MethodWide Scan > Wide Scan > Flee @ RAM > FighT! Ram > kill RAM > Sytnize skins > Cycle again ... etc

Stalking up on horns and leather or skins and selling them
Gobbiebag quest would help alot here

(tigers drop even though it dont farm alot their i noticed that the drop rate of skins is higher than fangs when i was without TH( Treasuer hunter) ohhh but i think tiger leather is too high as a recipe)

Hint:( Kinda general)
1) its best u have 2-3 mules if u wana make real money having 1 in each city helps ( in selling/buying ingredints and ur farmed/crafted items)

2)remmber that items are sold for a higher price if the guiled that they are used in is in that City that ur selling in

ex: Silver ingots ( bastok)
lumber and lodges ( sandoria)
bone and cloth ( windrust)

and remmber items that are sythinzed in that city are sold cheapest but that doesnt to all items

ex: arrowheads = windrust ( most are bonecrafted)
food is sold cheap in windrust somtimes

u can use thf/rng for lots of things camping VE in vlakrum dunes or leaping lizzy but as i said before i dont recommend camping an NM that is being camped by 5+ ppl
(ex: castle ozoraja u would never go ther if ther was 2+ thifes allready ther camping coffers chances is thers some that are loged out ther and some that are ther so me coming their @ least ther well be 5 @ the same time which happens alot i would wait till i see castle empty and log on camp it 8 hours straight non stop not giving 1 coffer to any thf i dont care if hes lv 75 with rank10 each nation that coffer is mine and i timed it and no one is gona find or know the timer for it just keep /smiling when they come past u they'll get sick of it and log/warp.( i know im evil).

***Gardning.
ok heres somthing that u might find usufull but u need a money starter for this. like 10k+ seeds ( u can farm or buy 3-7k)
recipes:

veg.seeds + lightning crystal = watercrystals 16-21
wildonins 1-4
black rock 1-2
onin stack = 6-8k in jeuno AH and rocks are for 2k-3k and water crystals are like 1k and u gona get alot of them ull probably end up with 1 stack of onins and 6-8stacks of water crystals thats like 10k profite

herb.seeds + Water crystal = Fire crystals 12-20
bayleaves 7-9

firecrystals were usualy used in my goldsmithing and bayleaves were sent to my cooking mule to be sold in jeuno AH @ 2-2.5k

( only problem in gardning is that it takes time for it to grow so i recoomend u grow to use no to sell)

ok heres one of the bcnms that u should do exepct i only recommend 4 jobs in this . . . party setup would be MNK ( u dont even to be well equiped somtimes its better so u dont draw too much aggro and **** up the fight) NIN ( its best u have as much haste equipe as u can since the skelton's aoe removes ur utusimi) WHM( PREFARED get yagauda drink it lasts about 4-5mins not sure :P BUT its the best drink and try to keep away from the battle) while nin and monk build tp and finsh the skeleton with SC fusion and keep silncing that skeleton u wont have to use alot of ur mp since the most spells u well be using are ( Haste, cure 1 ) dont use cure2 ull draw too much hate . .
even if mnk gets hit keep using cure 1 unless its out of control :P

Putting aside how difficult to read that is with all the bizzare misspelling and run-on sentances with no punctuation, that really isn't that good advice.

The price of the guild shops isn't based on the day, its based on how much of that has recently been sold to or bought from the guild, and they have a limited supply, so you might try to do that and find its sold out.

And he seems to miss the fact that real profit in crafting comes from having the skill to hq recipies, and lists several substandard methods of making gil through crafting (for instance, silver bullets wouldn't be best way to make money from your alchemy unless you had high enough skill in both alchemy and goldsmithing to get a lot of hq).

His listing of places to farm are far from the best places, and he even goes and gives completely wrong stats (for either before or after patch) on dhalmel pies, which is a level 75 recipie anyway.

I was only suggesting that the writer may have been using it as slang, slang in a language is pretty much any word cut up, shortened, changed ect. like 1337 speak for example.

to be honest At 1st i didnt care about writing and other ppl gaining money cause more ppl doin the same thing well undercut prices and then less profite u know what im saying
