Please be patient and forgiving of slow download speeds, my server is being swamped. The video has been up under 12 hours and already my bandwidth use this month has skyrocketed from less than 250MB to just shy or 4GB. I have 25GB/month, so everyone should be able to get it.

I'm having trouble with Windows Movie maker... The original quality of the vid, done with FRAPS is good. But when I convert it to a movie in the maker the quality is so bad you can't even read the names down by the life bars ><;

Hi, can anyone tell me where to download a specific viewer that has like the red maple leaf symbol on it, or something like that? I had to reload my computer and lost that program. Cant remember where I got it but it's the best one so far for viewing these vids. thanks.
After selecting Save Movie File, it will take you through a small wizard, starting with where you want to save the movie, and finally asks you for the quality settings, here's where you want to mess around with things. Use the "Other Settings" radio button which will give you a drop down box with more settings then you probably know what to do with. You can select "DV-AVI" for a setting with NO compression whatsoever, but that's not really worth it. I would use one of the settings listed as "Video for local playback", and use either the 2.1 Mbps, or the 1.5 Mbps, and see which one gets you the most compression without sacrificing quality. Hope that helps!

I just tried to view a video, it said error or something. I noticed in the web address it ended in </A>, which shouldn't be able to be seen in the address, it should be in the actual page.

Hey there everyone, I just wanted to say good job to everyone who has posted a video. I've actually been watching this forum for quite some time but I never really got around to actually posting in message boards until recently, and I figured I could post something under this topic as well finally haha.

this is a beta version of a video I want to make, around November I dissapeared from the game (Work was getting really bad with the holiday hours and prep work) and then came back around Feb. For story/RP wise, I figured I could make it seem as if Kioshi was doing his own personal quest, and this video was supposed to be like a mock teaser. I'm sure some of you guys have seen the clips before, but left the dialog out. I didnt want to put the dialog of the NPCs because their role in the movie isnt the same role as in the missions, or at least thats what I'm trying to aim for.. and yeah, obviously if you cant tell, i'm bored haha.. anyway, hope you all enjoy!

this is noob q but what program do i use to make a movie and how do i start it in-game?

i used a program called fraps, i dont know if there are any others out there.. but fraps works fine for me, they have a trial version you can use, i think it only like 30 seconds of footage at a smaller size and will have "fraps" embedded into the footage.. only way to get rid of that is to purchase the software.. i think it was around 30$? i forget haha.. its been so long :P

Thank you Satyra it did help alot. Making this movie taught me a TON of stuff. It is very laggy because I didn't set my filters right for an alliance.
