Hey all.

The long-awaited second episode of The Adventures of Gallick and Vaspinne is now complete and I'm desperate to find a host for it. It's a very large file, around 36MB uncompressed, 32MB zipped. If you saw our first video you'll love this one five times as much.

I'm also looking for a host to help us with our first episode--it's alot smaller, only about 10MB. I can't upload the second episode right now on a free download server simply because it's too large or not supported or whatever.

I'm desperate for a host. Please help me out, I would appreciate it so much. <3

There's the possibility this has been asked before, but if there is a way, how do you record videos of yourself on Final Fantasy XI, or better yet make a webcam of your ingame character playing the game? I've heard things about people having webcams and I have seen amateur videos (not done by a video camera) of people battling on this game. So, if anybody out there knows how to do any of this, please tell me.

If you are on PC, here's how you do it: Go to My computer, and select Local Disc. From there, go to Program Files. Search for a folder that says "PlayOnline" below it, and click on it. Select Square Enix. After that, DO NOT select Final Fantasy XI, select Play Online. Then, select pub. Then home 01, then open, then screenshots. If there's nothing in there, go back and select home 00, then a folder called open, then screenshots. Viola!

Getting my BitTorrent tracker to work again reminded me of why I hate routers..
Well I finally fixed it so, here's the tracker's page where you can get the torrents off:
http://advisie.demon.nl:6969/

If you want to have any torrent tracked, feel free to send me a PM and I'll add it. You'll have to seed for yourself, unless it's a small file.

This may seem an odd request, but I'm looking for a video I'd seen before, of a gay elvaan wedding at the cathedral in Jeuno. Anyone know what I'm talking about and have the link? Thanks in advance. <3

If you're wanting to convert your 1-2 Gigs Frap Video, first get the latest version of TMPG encoder @ www.tmpgenc.net Then re-encode the video using a codec already found on your computer.

If you happen to have divx or xvid installed on your pc already, then I highly recommend using this codec to re-encode your video. Also be sure to use a different audio codec like MPEG Layer 3. Export that as another AVI and voila more hard drive space.

Hi, I have some Avatar solo fight videos showing how to use the 3 Searing Light method and other fun videos here:

http://hosted.filefront.com/envyml

If someone would be kind enough to host it elsewhere besides filefront and then add it to Karg/Exo's Video library that would be cool!

Been awhile since I've been on this Board, but I recently came back to Final, thanks to some Friends and my GF :)

I have a Small Video Archive up, and recently added my Former Linkshells Rdm AF3 Fight to the List.

Enjoy :-)

Hi Everyone,

I remember seeing some cool videos here from time to time and noticed the cry for help since most videos are now no longer working.

I've decided to help out the FF community by donating some of my webspace :)

I hope you guys enjoy what I can offer you but it involves strict rules which MUST be followed:

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------

ANYONE UPLOADING FILES TO MY SERVER READ THIS NOW!

ALL FILES UPLOADED MUST BE VIDEO FILES AND MUST BE FINAL FANTASY VIDEOS. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO **** OR NON FINAL FANTASY RELATED VIDEOS TOLERATED.

NO WAREZ OR SOFTWARE AT ALL! THIS IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO UPLOAD FF VIDEOS AND SCREENSHOTS.

IF I FIND ANY CONTENT THAT IS NOT FF RELATED I WILL REVOKE THE ACCOUNTS IMMEDIATELY AND ALL PREVIOUSLY UPLOADED CONTENT WILL BE DELETED!!!

Please don't ruin it for everyone.

----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------

I've setup 4 accounts for you guys to use. Each account has a maximum of 5 GB in storage space.

All for accounts have a maximum bandwidth limit of 300GB / Month. I don't think you'll exceed that but just to be sure it's better just to DL the files and watch em from your HDD incase you want to see them again.

Accounts:

ftp.flamingchair.de
Login: allakhazam1
Pass: fantasy
Example: http://ff1.flamingchair.de/yourvid.avi

ftp.flamingchar.de
Login: allakhazam2
Pass: fantasy
Exmaple: http://ff2.flamingchair.de/yourvid.avi

ftp.flamingchair.de
Login: allakhazam3
Pass: fantasy
Example http://ff3.flamingchair.de/yourvid.avi

ftp.flamingchair.de
Login: allakhazam4
Pass: fantasy
Example http://ff4.flamingchair.de/yourvid.avi

UPLOAD ALL FILES TO THE HTTPDOCS FOLDER.

Files will be available as: http://ff1.flamingchair.de/valky_rabbit_train2.wmv for example.

Why flamingchair.de? Because it's an old domain I had which wasn't being used :P

Have fun :)

As previously mentioned (and apparently making rounds by looking at my server logs) I have put up quite a few videos at http://crystalfear-ls.com/dyn/videos
Anyone needing FFXI video hosting is welcome to contact me and I'll see what we can get done, for those who hosts can't handle larger files or if it's eating up too much of your bandwidth I'll be pleased to toss them on my server. All video files are compressed at the time of the uploading (instructions on how to uncompress the files are located in the readme page in that directory).

Also a big thank you to those others who are kind enough to take the time to make these videos and to those others who are offering space for said videos. :)

Thanks and take care,

Silentwolf

"Videos do not Work"

When you Run into This, Keep in Mind people Use Codecs for most Videos. If you do not have the Proper Codec, it will no Play. An easy way to check videos for Codecs used, is Gspot.
