Are you serious SE put every one on wild goose chase just to find a crystal. does any one else see SE people laughing there heads off?

Interesting concept. Looking at this further, the quote I had when I completed it solo was "The best parties comes to an end" or something like that. I did mine solo and got a crystal.

AmanoJ said he had to disband from his partner to get his. If his quote was the same then there may be some true reason to the quote.

Also, as to my earlier post where I received my fortune:

I received my fortune somewhere between 22:00 and 22:30. I wonder if the day of the week and the time of day are a part of your color assignment. Example - receive fortune before 12:00 on Firesday, your lucky color is Pale Blue(Fire is strong to Ice). Another player receives their fortune after 12:00 on Firesday and their lucky color is Blue(Fire is weak to Water).

Can anyone confirm this?

i have dug up info on the strange apparatus's (sp?) i will call them SA,

i have a friend who knows someone who has gotten the code for the SA, he says it is indeed a 8 digit code and is gotten from ZM but here's the twist. he says the code is diffrent for every person he also said it comes from a high zm mission past 16 his explanation is the best ive herd so far it fits well with every theory and explains why the supposed password out there dont work he says he cant remember what they are for tho they cant be all that ground breaking if he cant even remember what they are for, but hes uber rich so either hes telling the truth. or doesnt want anyone else to know....

so i really doubt this has anything to do with them

It's possible that I missed it but I searched Sanctuary of Zi'tah last night by chocobo and did not find a Luck Rune. I was searching for the Luck Rune that corresponds with North. I might look around some other places later today if I get bored.

Has anyone with the North designation tried to approach any of the Luck Runes that have been found in an area where the direction has not yet been matched up?

Try to check the Luck Runes in Qufim or Tahrongi. Perhaps the 8th Rune is in another direction altogether.

Ok.. so it's a new day in JST since I last got my crystal from Lufaise.. so I headed to Mhaura to see if I had a new fortune. I got the same "have you forgotten" message and same fortune.

I went to the same Luck Rune to see if it "reactivated," but got nothing.

I really hope this isn't a 1 time thing.. sure wouldn't think so. This is interesting. Guess I'll try later after it's been 24 hours since my last time. Perhaps it's a straight timer.

Maybe the 8th lucky rune "North" is in Labarynth of Onzozo.

I checked the Luck Rune in Passhow (firesday)
"Today is your lucky day"
"You obtain a dark crystal"

dont remember my resistances to light/dark.

also someone mentioned the title having to do with the city you get it from. Mine is from a bastok quest (im sandorian) and my friend got a title from Jeuno, "Activist for Kindness" (shes bastokian)

Confirmed -

Xarcabard = Great Distance to the Northwest.

On Darksday, checked the Luck Rune with -10 and 0 Dark Resist.
Got the "You sense that your lucky color may bring you fortune." message.
With +10 Dark Resist, received the "Today is your lucky day!" message, and received 2 Dark crystals.

I didn't try smaller increments of + Dark Resist, though someone posted earlier that +3 Fire Resistance had worked for them.

Earlier on Darksday (the same day) tried the same things on the Luck Rune in Qufim. Only got the "You find nothing out of the ordinary." message.

Going to try a few other ways to break this - i.e. succeed where I shouldn't.

My latest wild conjecture about all this - This is the Mhaura version of the Selbina Clay quest. (Hopefully not all for a map at the end....)

Agenda -

1. Find the elusive last Luck Rune (If it indeed IS the LAST one)
2. Determine which direction corresponds with Qufim, and which with Tahrongi.

I am going to search zi'tah like a mad man. I 100% believe it is there, it fits the bill when it comes to places they've been stickin em... and boy are there a lot of places to check.

I am still waiting on the 24 hour mark to check my rune again... here's hoping.

My latest crazy idea came from the emp pin. I know this seems really stupid... even to me... and its a huuuuge stretch...

but...

I was thinking about the perfect partner bit, and then the emperor and emperess hairpin came to mind...

Eh, anyway, just a random thought.

Well, a bit of bad news.

After my room mate and I waited for 24 hours, the rune did not reset, nor did the fortune teller in any way.

So... now we are stuck.

Since nothing automatically reset after even a real life day, I am assuming that it is either triggered, or there is another part to the 'quest' entirely.

Anyone have a single clue?

Matching the quotes up to the colors was a pretty good step.

It very well may be that the color and the quote are related for a good reason, and that could be a clue in itself.

Any good theories on what the clue might be?

My roomie and I even tried talking to the NPCs involoved in the quests that gave the titles we each needed, and then tried each others - no go.
