Currently I'm not able to log into play online -- it says that the server is too busy and wait and make sure all of the cables are working --
Am I the only one experiencing this?

Yeah this Maintainence is a pain. I certainly hope it takes care of some of the problems we have had with logging in and getting dc'd.
I think that they should have a bonus exp day for all players when they have frequent or long updates/maintainence times. I think it would certainly go a bit to improve some customer relations and satisfaction.
I for one really love the game and have had many great times with many people on here.

Honestly, and not to be a *****, but when there are two other threads on the very page you had to look at in order to post your own *plus* the damn game told you itself that there was going to be maintenance for ten hours today, you're just making people want to shake you until your eyeballs liquefy.
But to answer your question, it's going to be about ten hours. From 11 am EST to 9 pm EST (if everything goes the way they expect it to, I guess).

I don't go on FFXI every day of my life...and tolet ya know - i wasn't on yesterday.

Any time you have a login issue go to PlayOnline for any details for what's going on. They update every 5 minutes.

To be fair, some people dont have access to playonline.com (ps2 players) and some might not have logged into ffxi for a day or so.
Yes yes most people know its down but there are some that dont.
The op didnt come on the alla ranting so really give him/her a break and rate him back up whoever rated them down.
ps. yes they could have checked the boards but if you are trying to play then you want to play not read posts on alla which incidently might have been posts from sunday and monday when there was also down time.

I meant that sencerly not in a mean flaming way. Honestly I know that some don't have access to the net but the OP could have not known that PlayOnline.com existed. That's the only reason I posted about it.

yes the servers are still beiong worked on well at least i got the update done so i will be ready when their done.:)
