Yeah those ads are from there sponsers, they had that a couple months back also.

one thing i love is how on a cable modem the adds are the first things to load while i wait a good minute for the threads to come up
then you need to have ur whole cable connetion and equip checked. I have a cable connection and it all loads same time in about 5 seconds or less. vry fast.
Ok, Clarification:
I didn't make this thread to complain about loading speeds, or the fact that there are ads. I understand it's a free service and the ads are the price we pay. So please, don't start complaining about the speeds or the fact that there are ads.
But, ads like that... I just can't approve of, and I'd like to think the Admins couldn't either. I'd rather have porno ads than ads that promote ToS violating actions in the game(s) that the site was created for.
PS. Porno ads would give me something to do during maintenance :P

The Admins at allakhazam do not support gilselling, which is why they don't have IGE ads like most other major forums, but they can't really control google ads.
So Google is the bad person!
Why do Google's ads have things like this, but then Google goes around and acts all "moral" and pulls its support from sites which violate their ToS by having **** and stuff.

I remember a while back there was one forceful ad that got everyone pissed off. I swear, it did everything but install iteself onto your computer. It was a full page ad and when you tried to close it, it would pop right back up. I had to completly close out my browser to get it to go away. The admins finally blocked it though ><
I have noticed the gilseller ads too though, lol. I was wondering when someone would bring up up. I don't think the admins like the ads, but the sponsors who pay alla wouldn't give any money if we blocked them simply because we didn't like them :x I'm not saying they are good, I'm saying it's inevitable.

I think those ads are involved with google searches. The company pays google to format those ads so that the top searches for "cheap gil" or something like that are in the ad. That's why not one specific company is ever stated in those google ads.
Google doesn't control what the companies put, or where they put their ads. Google just provides the ad and takes their pay. Googles also doesn't control what people search for and where they put their links >.>;;; Sure there are filters, but if you search the right keywords, you'll find the truly sick and wrong things in this world, all because you used a search engine that searches every web page in the internet.
