Yeah but you must first log onto playonline before FF so that wouldn't help unless you were logged in before the extension.

If affect PlayOnline, indirectly affects too FFXI... (since to launch the game you need first log in onto POL)

Sadly though i dont think one can log into PoL... If they are still fixing servers than we are screwed. I will try to connect every 5 min until the time is up, in hopes that your idea is right.

I'm sorry, but no. The second message which refers to the extension mentions that it's an extension of the maintenance already in progress, and the one already in progress is affecting FFXI. Not to mention what the other people have mentioned, if the POL servers are down, FFXI is down.

I think it's self explanitory. Let's see if you can use your PC while we replace some of the CPU or the motherboard. Same goes for the POL servers.
