Same. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything yet since there was a playable demo time this morning which has, I believe, concluded.

You'll be waiting for awhile >_> The real meat doesn't start until tomorrow. All today is (according to the online schedule) is reg and reception. Tomorrow we get things like the playable expansion.

Also, i wonder, will Sarlos and Feba post in this thread/update or will they use the sticky. I do see Feba put up a little something already though heh.

Argh, the demos are tomorrow?

I can't wait that long for info. I should take the three-hour drive and sneak into the fanfest. Like a ninja.

Lol, I wish I could do sometihng like that >_> Seriously though, I had like the worst luck in a since with the festival. I COULD have gone, but like the day before I was going to buy a ticket to it a friend told me he could get me into E3. No brainer really... E3 over Fan Fest. Well, I find out later, too late for buying a ticket to the festival, that he just happened to have left out one little detail... E3 of NEXT year, aka 07 >_> Oh well

Anyways, Schedule

As you can see, all of today (which is the 9th) is Reg and Reception. From 10am (I assume Pacific) to 2pm tomorrow you can play the expansion. So, figure by 10:30am we'll know what the new job(s) are that aren't announced :p

A little off topic, but:

DaMn it. I was eating lunch, you son of a *****.

By the way, thanks for fitting the archetype of the person I imagined would go to a final fantasy fan festival, ladies man.

I hope you brought enough hentai to last your stay; I'm sure even the nerd girls won't be willing to oblige you.

In another Thread...

Who the **** are you again?

Anyhow, thanks for generic flame #4333245.
"you haven't been laid LOLOMGBURN."

I don't think I've ever heard that one before. You must let me in on where you got your ingenuity from.

Indeed. Spinshark arguing against itself? (I dare not dignify Spin with a gender.)

Aww. I am so jealous. I kept trying to come up with an excuse to visit my uncle in Cali that Thehusbandguy would buy into. No-Go.

Thanks for letting us live vicariously through you guys!

Oh, and Tag. You're it...

Made a minor update. Not much happened - was just registration.

Edit: If anyone knows a good image hosting site, let me know. I hate Image Shack because of the bandwidth restrictions, and yahoo photo resizes the images.

But was the registration awesome, or did it not live up to expectations?

Sarlos, xs.to

They only remove high-bandwith images by hand if it becomes a problem. Otherwise, no limit on bandwith.

Anyway, can't wait to hear your report for tomorrow! ^_^

I tried to embellish it, but, well, in reality, not much happened... Smiley: lol Probably the coolest thing was seeing the 40 XBox 360s plugged up to HD monitors. I looked at a few people I met in line and we all had the same thought -- this is the cause of the shortage. Smiley: lol

They really needed more people working registration though. They had one person checking names off a list, 2 people handing out badges, and one person putting together gobbie-bags. The line wrapped around the building then doubled back on itself. Hopefully someone else has pictures of it. All I know is there were fewer than five hundred people in front of me (because I got the Atlas), but at least twice as many behind me. Smiley: tongue

More to come when, as others have said, more happens than SE handing out the gobbie bags. Smiley: boozing

Why the heck do you need a post to find a thread? *points at his link at the top of the browser*

If y'all were using a tabbed browser you could just drag your URL down to the link bar and voila! Instant link to this thread!
