More new WS animations, these look to be the real Nyzul Isle Relic WS's, compared to some of the You Tube vids out there that show other WS's (basically, because the RDM in a vid did a WS OTHER than the one with the flower power.

Enjoy!!!

None of these look as cool as the original Relic Weapon Skills to me.

The DNC one looks really good imo, along with Scythe/Gaxe/GreatKatana/Puppet H2H.

Ok so my work is done then lol I don't have to post the rest... I did make a few mistakes, mainly MNK/PUP and DRK/WAR, but I didn't have the trailer with me on hand on my laptop to compare. Still some of them are great, others are meh... the blu WS doesn't look good at all. The RDM one, you have to see in game, even these videos don't do it enough justice. (Yes I .DAT swapped for flower power =_= )

I liked THF's buddhist electricity type move, hopefully it's something useful.
I'm also happy that PUP gets a multi-hit end game WS, they deserve it.
Most of them were pretty cool, some looked to close to others like PLD and BRD.
I think mostly I was disappointed with SCH's. It looked a little boring.

Is it me or does it seem like SCH and BLM should have switched WS? I just don't picture BLM doing something that "sparkly" as their own personal WS.

Ok, the h2h one looks like Puppetmaster actually. I don't know how to explain it, but it seems puppetmasteryish...

And I'm pretty sure that Dagger skill is for dancer. Notice the flowers? That says dancer more then THF then me.

If you notice the DNC ws as posted by the link to the JP video, you will see that the Terpiscore (sp?) has 3 blades and during the WS animation, it leaves a trail of 3 blades in its wake while swinging during the WS.

If you pay close attention to the monk WS..

He does The first 2 punches of combo, spinning attack, Backhand blow, Shoulder tackle, and they finishes it off with a one inch punch/howling fist all in one Weaponskill lol. It looks pretty sweet.

Okay here's an updated AltanaView List with all the WSes and new weapons/relics/armour included in the update. Since there's no reliable way of telling which WS goes with which weapon at this stage (I'm assuming that video was a collection of DAT mods), I've grouped most of the one-handed WSes together into a separate group. The 2 handers I'm pretty sure about.

Link

There was a metric crapton of new weapons added in this update. Lots of wicked looking 2-handed and 1-handed weapons... and a lime-green lance (Cletine). Armour not so much, the random Orcish Gauntlets and Karasutengu (Disney's Hercules-ish Campaign: Refresh boots) were added in March but just not in-game.

No new JAs or Spells either from what I could see, so the ones I found previously are probably in line for the next version update later this year. There's what looks like a new set of blue Summerfest clothes for each race, and an interesting Viking-esque Helm which looks hilarious on Tarutaru:

Enjoy!

If I ever have to type out Oninohocho again I'm gonna go insane. Smiley: mad

That's the PUP WS.

MNK gets a single hit WS.

Check the WotG trailer, you can see a PUP using the last hit of it.

COR, DRK, and PUP weapon skills look awesome.
COR one even has a little "lock-on" sound!

You have to remember too that most WS/spell effects scale depending on how big the monster is.

Saplings are rather small, they don't show off all the pretty colors as well as, say, a Marid would.

Posted this in the thread pertaining to the jp vid, but...

Nice, Ryunohige's looks like a mixture of Penta and Wheeling. Volant Angon sounds like a great name. Some arial effects would have been sweet, but it looks pretty tough enough.

I have to say, though, that the Scythe one looks the most devistating and fluid. While I'm not too keen on the scythe relic's design, I think that the WS is vicious.

The Death Penalty's WS is pretty tough looking also. That billowy smoke it releases when the barrel is thrown upwards is perfect. The targeting reticule that appear right before the shot are a nice addition, too.

Yea, that friggin rocked. Seeing the three wakes of the tri-blade was a really nice touch.

Yeah, the original video posted with Slash of Glory etc, those are Campaign Freelancer Weaponskills unfortunately. The one with the angel wings has a similar effect to Alexander's Judgement, it's really a nice weaponskill. But we'll never have access to them.

As far as the Nyzul Relics, I was trying to debate between Tizona and Murgleis but unless the stats on Tizona are magnificent, looks like I'm going for Murgleis, the weaponskill visual is much more fun. Tizona's weaponskill is sort of boring XD.

I love the after effect of Liberator's weaponskill with the floaty blue wisps.
