Whoo! Leading vote!

Tough choices.

Nailed it down to either the first shantotto pumpkin or the tonberry. Really love how the tonberry looks when lighted... gonna have to go with that one.

I'm always so impressed with these!

My artistic ability reaches its limits at stick figures, so in my eyes these are all jaw-droppingly good :)

(But I agree with lolgaxe - first Shantotto is just.... wow)

Some really good entries again this year. My vote has to go with Tonberry though. That just looks almost realistic in a creepy sort of throat-stab you while you sleep way.

Ah dammit I KNEW I was gonna have to pick between all the ones I figured were gonna be in this contest . . . argh.

I love the tonberry. It's fantastic and the use of shading is wonderful.

The first Shantotto is damn good.

Chocobo Chick #3 has to be the best use of shading in any pumpkin I have ever seen, period. That is some damn fine work.

Tales from the Cryptaru is the most original, I think.

ARGH I CAN'T DECIDE!

I wish I could have made my pumpkin more elaborate, but I have wrist issues and I can only carve for about 3 hours before I'm in such agony I have to stop. But as some of these prove, even a well made simple pumpkin can be among the best!

I <3 that the Tonberry uses a green squash, or whatever it is. The coloring really adds to the amazing shading!

For me, it was between the first Shantotto, the first Tonberry, and Tales from the cryptaru. I went with Tales from the cryptaru because I love the details on the skeles and it's hilarious and original. Tonberry was a close second because it looks so realistic, the shading makes it seem more 3d than any pumpkin (or green vegetable thing) should! Shantotto would have been my favorite, but I've seen the picture before, and despite what an amazing job the artist did, the originality of the others won me over.

The Promathia one or the first Shantotto one, wow, just wow. All are amazing, though.

Tonberry looks shopped. It's way too amazing to be real.

Tonberry was awesome, particularly when viewing the non-Dark picture, but I thought A moogle Kupo d'Etat had more work put into it.

All of them are amazing, its hard to pick just one. good job to all, and good luck.

Absolutely phenomenal work.

It was a really tough call between Shantotto and the Tonberry but I had to go for Shantotto in the end.

Wow, these are all like really good :O After looking at them over and over, especially Shantotto #1 and Tonberry, I voted for the Tonberry. It looks more real compared to the others, though Shantotto #1 had amazing carving.

The first Shantotto left me speechless. It was truly hard to believe that artistry was carved into a pumpkin. Just...wow. Amazing.

I felt the same way about the Tonberry one, but the Shantotto was just so detailed, they did a lot of extra work to make it look more impressive.

Tonberry was simply fantastic!

I feel proud to have cast the first vote for Tonberry when it was 66% shantotto #1 votes, lol.

it was tough choosing between shantoto #1 and trick or treat, but the shantoto wasn't very oringinal content, and i'm just a sucker for the silly stuff, so i voted for trick or treat. i was considering "total looser" as well. i found it funny when grouped with shantoto.

The green pumpkins are kabocha and let me tell you, they are really delicious!!

Some really great entries this year. I had it narrowed down to Tonberry, 1st Shantotto and Tales from the Cryptaru but in the end I had to vote for Tonberry. There was just something about that kept grabbing my attention.

Great work all around though.

I voted for Halloween Parade, clean and original design, unlike a few of the other ones, which were too cluttered, not easy to discern what was going on, or the art was blatantly lifted right from SE's promo art on their website.

Tonberry got my vote, first Shantotto is a close second.

Was hard to choose between the Tonberry one and Shantotto though...

Have to say I really had fun competing in the carving contest aswell, ... wouldn't it have been for my gf, I prolly didn't compete.
My account was hacked and I couldn't logg in anymore, had to wait for the 'Account Recovery' that could take like two weeks max, so had to find another thing to keep myself bussy, lol
