Congrats to the winners!

Last vote count, I was in 5th, but my goal was to make the top 25 so I'm still quite pleased.

Congrads to the winners! The Tonberry took my breath away and stold my heart from the firt time I saw the entry. There were some very mamzing pumpkins again this year. It was fun carving a pumpkin even if I didn't make it into the top 25. There's always next year.

Congratulations Efiel on winning!Smiley: clap I must say, when I first saw the picture of yours I actually thought it was a 3D picture. You have to tell me how you did that shading trick. I might try something like that next year.

Funny story about my pumpkin:
I still have not gotten a key-chain, so that was my ultimate goal. Unfortunately I miss read the rules... I thought it was the TOP ten entries that received key-chains instead it was the FIRST ten. Smiley: yikes

I was pretty close, being entry #13. It was only after I submitted my entry that I reread the rules. Smiley: banghead I spent 1 day planing and buying just the right pumpkin, and then 2 days (a total of 15 hours) working on that pumpkin. I was doing my hardest to make something worthy of making it to the top 10 spots, only to find out that if I just ran out, bought a pumpkin and carved something right away, that I might have been fast enough to get that elusive key-chain, LOL

BTW, Congratulations again to those speedy 10 carvers!

I chose to do the Shantotto expansion picture for its complexity. I felt I had to try even harder this year to out do my pumpkins from last year. I also love decorating my MH so I really wanted to work hard knowing the competition would be fierce in making it to at least the top 25.

A lot of people made remarks about my lack of originality. I will definitely be keeping than in mind the next time I try my hand at something like this.

P.S.- While my mother does not play the game, she really likes the music. Winning the CD's will be great cause then I can share them with her. Thank you again Allakhazam.com and Square Enix for having this contest and donating the prizes!

Thankyou for the contest. I had a lot of fun ^_^ I must admit, I was really after the huge in game pumpkin XD but I was so excited when I actually placed!

I changed my idea a multitude of times before I finally went with Tales from the Cryptaru. I just laughed so hard when I read the story behind it that i felt it was fitting.

Congrats to first and second. That is some truly amazing work. ^_^

I agree! I would love to be able to check out who did which pumpkins for all the entries. Would be great to let anyone on Remora know they did a good job. lol

Oh wow... I thought the tonberry on the main page was an actual Tonberry art sketch, not a PUMPKIN.
