Assuming that last sentence was a typo, and should have been "2H users", since Hasso/Seigan need a 2 handed weapon (H2H is not a 2 handed weapon). H2H users (MNK and PUP) will pretty surely continue to use /WAR /NIN /DNC depending on the situation.

/NIN gets the biggest boost, because Innin is a huge increase in DD capability (addressing the downside of /NIN before, since it's purely defensive for H2H users now and choosing /NIN means choosing safety over more DD power). Yonin is quite nice for soloing too.

/DNC gets a big boost too, with Haste Samba. Reverse and Violent Flourishes are nice too. And for PUP, Stutter Step can be useful to soften a mob up for nukes if you're using a nuking puppet.

/WAR gains Aggressor, but would continue to get most of its utility from Berserk/Warcry, Double Attack, and Attack Bonus (stuff that you already get from 37WAR)

Added Sekkanoki and the new level 45 job traits. Also removed Yonin/Innin and Afflatus Solace/Misery.

haha, I think all of you people are missing the point here. I'm looking at all new opportunities to solo sh*t that's never been soloed before! I'm rediculously excited about soloing ALL the gods in Sky, Sea, soloing Dynamis, Einherjar, Salvage, and Limbus with my new PLD/RDM. That is if they don't level cap all these areas like filthy little A-holes....... But just think how much fun it would be to completely destroy kirin by yourself in under 30seconds! Though I'm guessing they're going to have to level cap dynamis, otherwise everyone and their mother are going to solo it and you will never be able to get in there to do anything. Unless they change those zones into instances similar to what WOW does so people won't get locked outta those zones forever. Would be a blast to be able to get all your own currency for your relics on jobs you don't even have at 75 yet, and all the AF2 lol.

On top of that, what I'm REALLY excited about is the new weaponskills! /DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!! I've always been enormously addicted to getting every weaponskill there is. I get so bored using the same ones over and over again. I'll frequently switch weapons just to play with new ones when I'm on my warrior. On a side note, being able to use aggressor on Sam..... I think I just jizzed myself a little there...

I've always said this game should have been capped at lvl 99 like all the rest of the FF's, I'm so glad they're finally at least raising the cap once again even if it's not to 99, it'll still be fun. Though I'm curious what's going to happen to merit points.... This also opens up a whole new world for me. The thing I love the most about this game is lvling up. And hopefully, I can get my account turned back on and enjoy the fun all over again, and this time at all new lvls! Though some of the jobs I can't stand like thief or whm, are REALLY going to drive me crazy for those last 12 lvls.... But I should enjoy lvling SCH and SMN again ^.^

Oh yeah, as a side note for you SCH's out there, how does WARPGA II sound? WOOOO! lol

I think you overestimate what you'll be able to solo at 99, meaning you underestimate end game as it is now in difficulty. Kirin in 30 seconds? wow lol. Dynamis would laugh at you as you go broke from throwing 500k at it every time you went with little success in kill numbers to make it worth your while, not to mention the deaths you'd encounter from the big pulls. I really could go on for a hour about this idea. If SE gave boosts to King Arthro, Sim, and Roc, mobs that will give any solo a run for their money and we're anywhere from 20-25 levels past them, what makes you think level 99s whipping up on level 80s-90s gods solo is going to fly in the SE camp?

Kirin may not be possible to solo in 30 seconds, but it certainly will be possible to solo (duo with 2 rdms if you include adds).

Dynamis will definitely be a joke, and you'd have to really @#%^ing suck to not be able to make 500k back (protip: 500k is 35 bronze).

KA, roc, and sim are already soloable, and have been since before 80.

Why would they allow gods to be soloable? Well, i don't know, maybe because they're all already soloable (byakko being the only one that couldn't be done before 80).

He may be overestimating what we'll be able to do at 99, but you sir are underestimating what we could do at 75, let alone 99.

edit: to clarify about kirin, you'd need 2x rdm/nin, one kites kirin, the other takes the first add. They solo, with cs. After first add, the rdms switch rolls, and the original kiter cs nukes the second add down. The third can be soloed at any comfortable pace, it doesn't matter how long it takes. That just leaves genbu, which the kirin kiter can kite with kirin until the third add is dead. Once adds are dead, a single rdm will easily be able to overcome it's regen, with nothing to else worry about.

I think that is closer to balance issues. You won't see any job solo those things. Just the ones that are loaded with survival tools. The question is of course how invulnerable you are allowed to be in a MMO.

ROFL! You completely missed the point, I'm talking about how easy it's going to be to solo anything period. Like the poster after you said, you underestimate what's possible at lvl 75 let alone what were going to be able to do at 99 my friend. I'm sure soloing kirin in 30 seconds might be a stretch, but at 99 those "gods" are going to be {Too Weak}. I personally have soloed Genbu on my MNK, and I had to duo Suzaku and Seiryu using my BLM considering my gear isn't the greatest on that job. Not to mention there are multiple HNM's in the game in which I've soloed with my ninja and or pld as well. And that's only lvl 75 bro... My mind is going absolutely crazy with all the possiblities that are available now.
Now Dynamis is going to be a straight up joke, seriously... with maxed out enhancing magic, the right en-spells, stoneskin and phalanx... it's going to negate pretty much any magic damage that comes my way. And with the damage that'll be possible at 99, I'm pretty damn sure that your basic statue is gonna be dropped within seconds. It might not be possible to solo every single zone, but a small party could easily pull it off. Tank, two DD's and a healer would rape dynamis all day. And again like poster after you said, all I need is a little over 30 pieces to make my money back... But I garuntee you the cost of currency is gonna WAAAAY down once everyone and their mother will be able to go in there with just a small party. I suspect we'll be seeing many many relic weapons soon.

there is a fixed cost that will keep the price of currency from bottoming out. It costs 500k to run dynamis.

The overhead cost means any group wants to make this back and more. 500k is steep enough that the price cannot drop too far.

I think we'll most likely see inflation from this. prices won't drop to terribly much, but costs of other things will go up. Ancient currency will become more easily available and so will relics.
