Autorun issues with PS3 ControllerFollow

#1 Nov 15 2011 at 12:43 AM Rating: Good
Alright, I have a friend who has the auotrun set to L1 on her PS3 controller. She is having an issue where it's made her so she's stuck running in circles since she pressed it once. She even went back to remove the autorun from L1 button and it still hasn't stopped. Is there any way to fix this so that it will work and not stick. It's also a new controller so it's not sticking or such.

Check the mouse. If you click on the game and accidentally drag it off the window, it gets "stuck" on that input.

Is it a really PS3 controller or a dual action (stick) controller? My Logitech controller does strange things when the analog/digital button is on the wrong setting.

id say check the mouse issue as mentioned, and also run a calibration on the controller, it is possible that the dead zone (center) is not correct upon connection (this can be from holding the stick when pluging it in, or the native center on the control has been lost over time).

I use a PS3 controller and the only time I have ever had issues has been mouse related, or hitting Walk "Z" on compact. Other than that I can't think of a time when my PS3 controller has had any issue (other than its overly sensitive R2/L2 buttons but nothing I can do about that and it is the easiest for macro access.)
