If you're anything like me you've got a stack of print-out with FFXI info next to your PC nearly as tall as your PC itself.

When I got back into the game for the Abyssea expansions I found myself printing so many pages from this site that I decided to just compile them all into a format that was easily printed. (Fortunately for me, I've got access to free unlimited color printing thanks to my work)

I thought I'd share the final work here. I've uploaded it to drop box, and here are the links below:

So here it is, my final version of the complete guide to Abyssea. I'm working on a Voidwatch one too that should be available soon.

Final editable DOCX file with PNG cover art:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58663720/abyssea_docx.zip (30.3 mb)

Final version as PDF with PNG cover that I use on my e-reader (don't need Office, but the DOCX version prints a lot better):

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58663720/abyssea_pdf.zip (30.8 mb)

Extra Empyrean Armor Checklist I made:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58663720/empyrean-armor-checklist.pdf (60 kb)

And just for fun, here's some pics of the copy of the guide that I had bound for my own personal use:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58663720/guidepics.zip (9 mb)

I don't take credit for anything presented in these docs except arranging them into a printable format.

EDIT: Added file sizes

Brownduck; I think what this guy likes is to be able to look stuff up in a printed book/notebook instead of swapping windows and looking it up. (One of my friends does that with maps; she has a tendency to really get lost, otherwise) You know, like a strat guide? And since the brady guide is pretty much only good for whopping burglars with (Yeah the fail will kill you) or a doorstop or something, you kinda have to make your own. :)

There is NOTHING wrong with that if you can afford the ink/paper/hole punch/cheap notebook.

Thank you for assembling that. I've mostly formatted things I need to highlight or scribble on, like my Ultimate BLU Worksheet and Ultimate PUP worksheets where I need to highlight all the missing spells/automaton parts as I acquire them. But what you have done is far beyond that, and is very valuable and awesome.

This is an incredible resource, now if you could fix the broken/truncated empy armor checklist link
I would be even happier!

Was gonna make a checklist soon so I could keep track of how many seals I have on my mule for each piece
So that checklist would help immensely ^^

The full printed document is a little much for me but I will definitely be printing and using the Empy checklist to replace the handwritten version that currently sits next to my keyboard.

By any chance, do you have a similar checklist for Atmas and Abyssites?

Sadly enough you could of just bought better monitors and not wasted all the time. Only thing worth printing in this game is maps. Everything else I just memorize basically.

Nice work.I am fond of Excel spread sheeting things myself! If I ever found myself power pointing something for the game, I may need mental help.

Some people process things better with an external tracker that they can write on. Sure, a website in the second monitor is great for looking up what NM drops Iga Body seals, but there's no way to indicate on that website how many I got two weeks ago, and in the interest of saving space, a lot of my seals are stored on a mule and not kept on my person.

I don't really bother printing out general info because there's just so much of it, and I tend to be the dirt-worshiping, tree-hugging, soulless liberal type.

That said, I don't know what I would do without my own empyrean armor checklist (Then again, I don't print that either-I find it easier to update as a working excel file). For anyone using Domfrancisco's or making their own, I suggest adding a checklist for empyrean base feet, since you tend to get a lot of random ones you don't need and quickly forget about them as soon as they're stowed away. I also recently added a table for relic/-1/+1/+2/accessories, because since I started farming forgotten items and currency, random pieces have been dropping like water.

Edit: My god those files or big! (or I just have a really slow computer/connection, both entirely possible..) I clicked them, and forgot about them. 20 minutes later it pops up on my screen out of no where lol. Those are incredibly thorough though. Nice job.

I play on a big TV (PC in living room with low-noise case), and use a laptop for looking up stuff. Laptop > second screen since you don't have to deal with which window is in front, etc. Also, I play with joypad, and the PC keyboard is usually set aside, but the laptop's keyboard is attached to it.

If you create an FFXIAH account, there are checklist pages for stuff like that.

I have a big text file that I keep open on my laptop where I keep all sorts of notes on FFXI, including stuff like what my skill levels are, what the atmas I have do, why people are on my blist, etc.

I know this is a NECRO but this is awesome. I am thinking of doing something similar for neo-dynamis.
