Word from the crow's nest is that the forthcoming version update will come swooping into Vana'diel in the middle of May!

This update will feature a host of adjustments currently in the testing phase, such as job adjustments and adjustments to weapon skills/abilities for ranged weapons, so strap on your subligar, put on your party peg leg, and shove off for festive and fruitful feats!

For a detailed description of the test server content, please visit the Testing in Progress subforums.

Good thing that it's in the middle of may.. diablo 3 comes out the 15th and if the update is something you can beat in about a week again I have something to fall back on.

I dont think this update has anything new to beat. Aside from the 30 minute trip to abyssea to redo merits, which you can do before the update goes live.

Honestly, I get way more gemstones than logs from the little voidwatch I've done. Technically, adding more logs would make it more BALANCED.

Don't give them ideas.

They're obviously trying to appeal to Brygid's fanbase.

Oy, matey, be yeh not fond of the privateer humor? Any a'wise pirate knows not ta' plunder without some kinda subligaria 'neath 'is trousers, lest some ill fate befall 'is family jewels, and prevent the poor soul from ever buryin' 'is treasure again. Savvy?

Aye, methinks they've not remembered the need for subtlety, or they've thought it wise to forewarn us of some impending high seas debauchery that be needed done 'fore we can... secure... this promised treasure.

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

Oh you guys and your pirate talk...I really don't know how you guys can manage to pull the notion that they were hinting at pirates from what was said, but can't derive any subtext about ninjas from the spaces between the words >_>

Not sure about the ninjas and pirates but I did notice the subtle hint of whats to come contained in SE's short description of the update.

The first letter of each paragraph spells out WTF.

Given their recent roadmap, it might well be a hint of what's to come. I predict heavy nerfs and the replacing of all Voidwatch logs with rock salt.

Ug... That wretched little girl... If I could kill NPC's she'd definitely be of the first things in the game on my "Meteor wish list".
