hey guys im having trouble logging back on. its telling me that i dont have any content id's for ffxi. i started about a month ago and was on my free trial so im guessing that its up but i cant figure out how to get it going again! i just want to play why dont SE take my money lol

I know it was the case back when people were billed through Playonline and I assume it's the same for the Square Enix accounts, but when you signed up for the one month free trial, it should have had you choose a billing method at that point through the Square Enix Account Management System so that if you wished to continue once your 30 days were up, you'd be able to continue playing without interruption. If you did go about this (which I imagine they would have had you do), I would check on the Square Enix accounts page to see if something wasn't set up properly.

Head here: https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/login
Under "Services and Options", select "Select a Service". Click Final Fantasy XI.
Click Add a Service Account.
Buy a code here for 16$ (all expansions, etc): http://store.na.square-enix.com/store/sqenixus/en_US/pd/productID.241238700
Install game. Type in the game code under "Playonline".
When that is done, and you've made a character, come back here and click "Add a service account" again and add it under Final Fantasy XI to redeem your Destrier Beret. Visit a Festive Moogle to get it.

Hi there, Mr. 12 posts. 50 people looked at your problem and didn't respond. Would you like to know what the likely reason is? Those 50 people probably never encountered your problem and therefore had nothing to say. I, personally, don't think you deserved help after that comment, and can only hope you're a 12 year old child who hasn't leant manners yet.

Well, Diamond's right even if he came across as harsh. Complaining that people on a forum haven't solved your problem fast enough is not a good way to get help.
Issue probably is most of us have never done the free trial so it isn't exactly easy to know what went wrong.
