Could anyone tell me what use this change could possible have? I just dont get it.

Not only do i normally already rarely use these, now it comes with the extra hassle of having to Pianissimo if you just want to give yourself some CHR for song accuracy.

I really dont see the point in using them otherwise. Unless they magically changed the game into one where giving everyone an extra ~15 str would better than giving everyone +81 Attack.

There's better songs to use. And if you -would- have been using these, best case scenario is that you're just using them on yourself for some extra CHR, or for testing on one other person to see what an extra X amount of stat Y does for him/her so they know what to buy next.

I can see it might be sort of useful for Foe Sirvente, but then again, unless you have a full party of tanks, i dont see the use of AoE Adventurer's Dirge either.

A DRK would want 15 STR over 81 attack most anytime, because flat attack bonuses are trash in the face of Chaos Roll, Zerk, and Last Resort and STR will always increase WS damage.

Silly one-handers...

But I thought these are 'third slot' spells are they not? I thought you could have two songs and an etude up, no? If so, this just gave BRDs a reason to even bother with them.

At the very least it solves the problem of these having a 24 second recast to begin with, so they weren't effectively applicable to more than one or two people at a time anyway.

I'm sure that's what their logic is. "If they wanted to single target them, they'd just use Pianissimo." They're just making all the buffs consistent in behavior.

Frankly I don't care at all, because those are all songs I never use.

Also, song accuracy is still an issue for BRDs nowadays?

Uhh wut? No, the only way you're getting more than 2 songs is with another BRD (or /BRD), or a Daurdabla.

Relevant trivia: The only reason a BRD is capable of applying two songs is because of their instrument. Try going BRD and singing without any instrument equipped: you'll only be able to apply one buff, just like /BRD. Technically, every instrument has "adds additional song effect" on it, and lv90-95 Daurdabla just adds 2 instead, and lv99 adds 3.
