It is our great pleasure to announce another Double Capacity Point Campaign, aimed at all those adventurers who wish to take their jobs to new heights!

Campaign Period:
Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. (PDT) to Monday, May 4, 2014 at the same hour.

During this time period, all enemies will yield twice the capacity points that they normally would. As new job point categories are scheduled to be introduced with the May version update, there could hardly be a better time to take up sword or staff and start slaying savage fiends!

Read on for more information on capacity points and job points in the March version update notes.

If it's this obvious that the rate at which you get job points sucks, why not just make this doubling permanent?

It's not like there's any game breaking job point categories, and people would still have to spent a crapload of time for 2 extra blue magic points or whatever.

random thing I just noticed: "The effects of the song "Goddess's Hymnus" affect alter egos."

That is hilariously awesome. I need to try this out before they patch it.

What happens? Do they just lie there dead instead of disappearing?

They already announced that they are increasing the amount of CP gained per kill, adding chain bonuses and lessening the reduction when in the party in the patch in May. They are doing these double CP campaigns now because they don't want to do an emergency maintenance on it.

If they are capable of doing campaigns like this without doing emergency maintenance, then why don't they just say "We'll leave the Double Point Campaign running until the May Update" if that was their intention, though?

It seems kinda silly for them to do a "Special-wecial Rimited Time Offer!" and then a few days after the first ends, do a "Second Special-wecial Rimited Time Offer!".

So what happens if the Version Update does not happen by May 4th?

Are we going to see "Third Double Point Campaign" at May 11th-15th?

Just curious, not complaining or anything, just curious why they don't just say "We'll double the points until the version update comes out" or something, it'd be easier. lol.

You have a point. I can only assume that they just don't want to move up the time table for the points and instead want to do the double points campaign until the other changes can go into effect.
