Hello Again!Follow

Hello All,

I first started adventuring with a group of friends while stationed overseas in 2004. Like all military brothers and sisters, we inevitable went our separate ways with me leaving service in 2005. I stayed and adventured with a new group of friends and it was fun for many years. In 2009, I had to stop adventuring and I heard later that my beloved server, Garuda, was no more. A few months ago while I was cleaning out some old boxes, I found all of my original discs and expansions for FFXI and thought I would revisit Vana'diel once again. Hours of installation and version updates later, I find myself without old friends and almost clueless as to the changes in game. I work and go to school now so my time in game is limited, but I'd like to adventure with friends again wherever I can find them. For those on Lakshmi, I have several characters stationed around Vana'diel. My main is in Sandoria and is Sandorian by allegiance. I play a female character in game because I like to watch her ghetto booty. It beats watching a Galka tail for hours on end any day. Anyway, if anyone wants to extend a hand of friendship on Lakshmi, the two mains I play are Pvcchic (hume: WAR75/PLD60/SMN30/NIN40/BST30/I can't remember what the rest are, but most of them are sub job adequate at the time of my leaving in 2009) and Billbobaggins (tarutaru: WHM60/BLM32). Billbobaggins was originally started as a mule, but I liked it so much I leveled it. That also allowed me to teleport LS mates from place to place when on missions. Anyone from the old LS Stormriderz still around?

SE went and added an official forum while you were away, so maybe a post in the Lakshmi section could better catch an eye or two. Or maybe in the general area. Game's changed a lot since then, so hopefully you've looked into snagging a more recent CE for access to Adoulin and Abyssea stuff.
