Now if only they gave us more things to do with the accolades rather than pop NMs you need groups for. Been sitting at 50k for weeks. They're way too easy to earn as is :<

I also think they should just take a page from their "double salvage plan drop rate" campaigns and leave the capacity point gain doubled all of the time.

Accolades are definitely not "too easy to earn." I spend 95% of my in-game time doing just that. Don't need merits, don't need job points, got all that stuff long before accolades were introduced. So here I am killing fodder solo for 5 hours so that I can do 20 minutes of unity NMs. Unity sucks because of accolades, don't ask them to add more stuff that requires them!

Yeah they are a pain in the ***. It's too bad too because I actually really like the Wanted NM system. It's just that accolades take too long to farm when you are burning through NMs (plus you have one person at 50k accolades, another person has only 15k and has to drop out after only a few fights, etc). Also, good luck if you want something from a less popular NM since all participants must spend accolades. Really, they allow people to help in exchange for no coffer drops. That's probably my main issue with the system. Oh, and a higher accolade cap would be great.

You'll be happy to note that I read a JP dev post using google translate (made today) saying they are increasing the amount of accolades given by doing objectives.

Frankly I'm with Fyn though, I have lots of accolades but no one ever seems to want to do unity NMs... I'd love some of that gear but folks I talk to are either uninterested or capped...

Well, for me they are. Like I said, always capped. My means of spending them is far more limited than my means of obtaining them.

There are instances where people are shouting (whether actually shouting or within the unity channel) for a NM, but quite often it's one that has nothing interesting that I want, so why would I go to waste points on it?

I merely think there should be some sort of alternative for people like me, who are sitting at cap all the time because they can't spend their points (at least, not on anything sensible; 15k for a tally chest key that will probably give you crap 99% of the time? nahhh)

Alternatively, they should do away with the 50k cap

If you're always capped, consider spending a few on gobbie box keys at 15K each. In Western Adoulin the gobbie box is even right by the accolades NPC.

Yeah, I got like a dozen of those keys back when they were giving them out daily.

It probably wasn't exactly 12, but however many it was, that's how many pieces of trash I got.

I'm looking for something a little more meaningful and a little less RNG (if it's going to be that expensive...) to spend the points on. Example: look at all the **** you can get with sparks of eminence. THAT's the sort of thing I'm looking for. Sparks may not necessarily be traded for top tier stuff, and buying things like Rem's Tales might not necessarily be the fastest way of obtaining them, but I have never ever been short of things to spend sparks on.

Hell, I'd even be happy if they took the lazy way out and simply let us use accolades along with sparks to buy RoE stuff.

I'd probably be less accolade-starved if they let you trade copper vouchers for 1000 accolades each. I'm sitting on like 70 of those things with absolutely no use for them.
